Morning all
Lovely bonfire party last night - however DS1 drank too much. I had to grit my teeth and not get annoyed with him as it would have just made me feel miserable and been a waste of time. Tucked him into bed with a bucket by his side. He is not well this morning.
We are taking DS2 to footie. Oh and LW we got your rain I think. It has rained non stop since about 4pm yesterday!
Have done some online Christmas shopping this morning and should really get my meal plan done before we go out.0 -
Afternoon all.
Hope everyone is as well as they can be.
Loads of fireworks round here last night took ds1 into town to sing and picked him up after. Saw several ambulances with blue light round at variousstages of both journeys-hope it was nothing too serious and everyone is going to be alright. Guessing they were calls to firework related on some of them.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone. I like fireworks to doobop. We got a last minute invite to mum and dad's to watch the town fireworks over the bay from theirs and have stew. I'd bought one little one for us and some sparklers so took those round. DS is only 5 and he ran away from the sparkler so I had fun on my own! Haha. Maybe next time.
I also snuck a load in the tumble dryer while I was there. Done a load of bedding this morning, cleaned the bathroom, baked a cake, made bread and butter pudding, roast chicken, winter veg crumble, roast potatoes and veg and I've called my grandad. Lounge needs vacuuming and table needs a wipe and I need to do the dinner prep washing up while I wait for my parents to arrive. So glad I got sky cinema because we can watch a film afterwards. Can't go for a walk because mum has only just had her pot taken off and she can't afford another break. Right! Time to get off my bum and fly!0 -
I have just lost a long post. I will see you on next thread x0

Hello again. Change of plan here today, all shopping was done on line. One dog walk done in the rain. Two washloads done.
See you all on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi everyone, I have spent most of today doing ironing and laundry. I have also put up a set of drawers which I got for the master bedroom and sorted underwear into it for myself and DH.
I'm surprised that my room already looks better despite only one small job being done. Until today I could go into the room and apart from a small square at the door there was no where to go except onto the bed. The change has spurred me to come back on here and try to make a point of doing at least one thing a day, as the whole house is a mess at the moment.
I will join all of you on the new thread and keep focused on what I need to do. Bye for now x0 -
I've been on a laundry mission too mmm xx
Managed to dodge the worst of the rain at football, oh but it was cold. Pleased DD could go to our friends, she would have been miserable. Was DS first match in 6 weeks what with his hand incident, he did well, bless him.
I think I'm sorted for tonight, kids have had a bath, I've cleaned up the kitchen while they had supper, and I've just done a spot clean of the hutch and put the squeakers away for the night. Will clean the pen tomorrow. Uniform is ready and packed lunch, and once the kiddies are in bed I'll sort school bags, and then I think a baileys coffee (decaf) is on the cards
I've been scribbling on my weekly planner as I have a few things I want to get done this week. New sofa is coming on Thursday so I need to make room for the chairs to go back in the conservatory. Also want to paint the kitchen skirting as I never did finish it
See you all tomorrow xxBossymoo

I've done the last of the hoovering (including clearing up the mess in the utility from doing the gardening and bringing in wood as I seemed to shed mud), so the downstairs hoover is ready to empty in the morning. I have no idea where all the dust is coming from - both upstairs and downstairs hoovers seem to fill up very quickly!
I've also frozen some of the meat I bought on Friday, made mung bean curry and a chicken/aubergine/fennel/pepper casserole. The curry I'll keep out, but after I've eaten this evening the rest of the chicken will be frozen.
Window cleaning clearly needs to be carried over to next week, but i'm pleased with progress both in the house and the garden. [/QUOTE]0 -
