We had escapees this morning! :rotfl: note to self, when children want to hold gps put said children inside the gp pen. As gps jump off laps and hide under hutches! :rotfl:

I have an almighty piggie mess to clean up after college. Heaps of fun though, so far...

I've just put them back in the hutch for while I'm out and will organise the conservatory and pen later. We are kind of winging it at the mo to socialise them. Boy is very skittish. But they both will take green beans out of your hand :D

Right, I'm going to make a cuppa in my travel mug and head off to "school". Think DS has assembly this aft so planning to get back in time for that, then we have work to do!!!

Have a nice day everyone xx

Just a reminder to check your washing when you bring it in from the line at this time of year. I've got a nice wasp sting on my knee from a poor wasp that was happily hibernating inside my leggings :(

Socks: I always put them in a mesh laundry bag before they go in the WM, and I've never had one go missing yet.:o
Or maybe you have a case of an Eater of Socks, as detailed in Terry Pratchett's "Hogfather".:rotfl:

Should I attempt gp socialisation vibes? :D They sound delightful! What are they going to be called? Want piccies, pretty please. :o

Mr LW has tidied out the almighty gibble-fest that passes as his bedside cabinet - I don't go in there, don't know what might bite me if I did. Rehomed a bunch of spare buttons to the button-box, two keyrings to the spare keyring box, a tube of S@vlon to the bathroom cabinet, some spare leads and erasers for refillable pencils to the stationery cupboard and found two empty spectacle cases for disposing of.

The plan this afternoon is to go through the receipts file and shred any that are no longer needed; all the files need weeding, and that's a nice easy one to start with.;)

Greenbee I hope you're not too sore after being stung; note to self: let Mr LW get washing in for the forseeable future, as I'm allergic to wasp venom.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Well, kitchen is a tiny bit better than when I posted yesterday - just the rest of the house to do!
Just had some lunch then going to get started.
never heard of these Karcher things - googled them - is it like a condensation vacuum cleaner?

I'm OK, and I'm glad my warning is useful. I always forget about the problem at this time of year until I start coming across them. Bear in mind that they'll be looking for places to hibernate, so make sure curtains and blinds are given a good shake. They also like bookcases and log stores.

I've got another load on the line at the moment as it's lovely and sunny outside my office window... so hoping to get quite a bit dried today. No progress elsewhere...

More than I thought I had done. I have had a Karcher for a few years (5?) now and it is very good.
