Well done MM on SOTW. Thank you Shala for the chart as usual. Not going to meet my target on the chart but not too worried now as have got back into target range at SW! Not weighing again until New Year so that's it for me.
An EE day today:
B - porridge made with water; mixed frozen fruit
L - HM veg soup
D - cold pork, chips, salad, pickles
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - not decided yet but maybe some chocolate as long as DH doesn't start on the wine again (can't resist if he drinks!)

:T well done chocomonsta. I'm so proud of you all with Christmas losses.TakeItEazy wrote: »Anyone else feeling sick at the thought of eating all the rubbish/unsw food over Christmas? NO! Just me then
Sorry to hear about the black dog tie but I plan to be very selective about the nonSW foods I eat. I've made a list. I posted on Saturday it was crisps, some good bread for turkey sandwich, chocolate marzipan and ginger, cheese, dauphinoise potatoes, small portion of Christmas pudding with cream, extra wine syns. Since then I've remembered cherry liqueurs and that I like a fish and chip supper as a change from Christmas food before the end of the month. I haven't started on any of them yet but they'll be a treat to look forward to.
Are you going out to eat on Christmas Day lois? Was it last year you went to Benidorm?
Change of plan yesterday in that DH went out for a drink but partners didn't go along so I saved a load of syns there.:D Instead I made a cauli cheese and had about 3 syns of chocolate. I thought it was a fair swap.;)
Today I've had:
B: NAS grapefruit, ham, HEB toast, fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried potato, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and picklessynful
It's my DD1's birthday today so they'll be over later and traditionally we have a take away. This year I think she fancies pizza so I'll be having that with plenty of salad (HM so generous). And there'll be cake and wine syns.
I'm going to be 100% on plan tomorrow and reining in like an Olympic equestrian. I want to go to WI on Thursday and fingers crossed to be in range then I'll have leeway to relax over Christmas a bit and recover before weighing again.:xmassmile0 -
I can't see me bagging a loss this week - we went out for a festive lunch today (me and the two ladies in the office I'm in most of the time) and the boss came with us (and he paid! better not tell the other office!).
going to do my fitness dvd tonight and tomorrow but I can't imagine a loss being on the cards and I'm ok with that. Straight back on it from boxing day in the hope of salvaging next week. as long as I'm lb down at the end of the challenge and don't finish my countdown at the same if not more than when I started then I'm ok and ready to go it alone!************************************

Morning
Day 1 of 777 completed including 2 walks of 2km each, my knees are feeling it now!
Maman - we went to Benidorm for Valentines Day last year, it was Christmas the 2 previous years but we're not going this year. We had a great time staying where we are last year so that's the plan again - Christmas Eve party (disco dancing until 2am or till we drop whichever comes first), Christmas dinner in the restaurant by the beach, (not sure what's happening for the rest of the day but probably board/card games, drinks and nibbles with friends), brunch on Boxing Day (smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, Buck's Fizz) followed by a walk down to the beach to a fundraiser for a local school including a sponsored swim when all the swimmers wear fancy dress over wetsuits. Jacket potatoes and chilli will be available if we get hungry.
TIE - sorry to hear you're feeling down about Christmas, it's hard to avoid all the rubbish but you can do it if you make sure there are SW friendly alternatives. It's only once a year so it's ok to allow yourself a few treats as well.
Good luck to everyone weighing in - Maman, Lush.
Have a good day.

Last weigh of xmas last night and I lost half a pound. That's ok. Was hoping for more but never mind. Just need to see how much I weighed last time year. Hopefully I weigh less than last year !:) Merry Christmas all x0

Sorry to hear the black dog is visiting TIE, sometimes I think he comes to visit me after I've been on the naughty food and drink. For me I think the two are connected.
Hopefully he will soon be on his way!
I'll not get to class on Saturday so I will probably have to finish the challenge today.
Doubtful I will get a loss this week. I met my sister last night for an Indian as haven't seen her in a while, today I am being good and going to the gym at some stage, tomorrow night I am at the last day of the xmas market with mother and eating there, Friday I am out with work ones and staying in a hotel overnight with a girl from work. Got a really good deal - less than the taxi home.
Xmas eve is quiet, xmas day and boxing day with the family and then away on the 27th to lanzarote. I plan to get a few more gym sessions crammed in before then.
Looking forward to good losses in 2017 and hopefully not much of a gain over xmas. Want to be starting the New Year off well and not getting a visit from my own black dog.0 -
Good morning everyone and what a cold morning it is too.
Anyhow, this is my Today's menu ( Wednesday )
Breakfast.. overnight oats ( fruit and yoghurt. B.
Lunch.. celery soup. 2 crispbreads with beef paste on 2 Syns plus ???
Dinner...chicken new potatoes mixed veg. Clementine x 2. Apple
Extra 2 crispbread 2 Syns glass of sherry ???
All my Syns and probably more.:T:T:T0 -
Wiz - the syns aren't too bad. The beef paste is 2.5 syns for 25g and I doubt you'd have that much on 2 crispbreads.
Sherry is actually a very good choice for alcohol as it's only 3.5 syns for a 50ml glass for sweet sherry and 3 syns for dry/medium. So you could be well within your syns today depending on how many glasses of sherry you drink!
I kept within syns yesterday so still doing OK this week. Another EE day today:
B - toasted bacon & mushroom sandwich with brown sauce - HEB + 3 (2 for spread; 1 for sauce)
L - not sure at moment but will probably be something Free
D - toad in the hole with low fat sausages (10 syns); mash; veg; splash of gravy (I have so little I don't bother synning it)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - 13 - as above

Or the size of the glasses!:rotfl:
You're doing well to stick to plan enough to lose FE:T. Enjoy Christmas and then give it your absolute best shot afterwards. New Year is a great time for making plans and plans for how to fit SW into our lifestyles need to be top of the list.
I ate far too much of the wrong things last night. As it was DD1's choice I ate pizza and cake and garlic bread. Not things I'd have put on my list of preferred syns but it's over now. Today is going to be 100% on plan.
EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably a ham saladsalmon, SW chips, mushrooms, tomatoes and something green (salad or mange tout/broccoli)
Syns: none planned
I've only recently got DH onto salmon as he says it's bland so normally I buy ready flavoured but today's is plain. I'm going to experiment with soy, garlic and ginger marinade and hope it works.;)0
