    Hi all

STS for me this week which I'm quite pleased about as I've had a very inactive weekend due to the weather and a few flexible Syns were consumed on Saturday night.

There was an amber weather warning for SE Spain this weekend and I've never known it rain for so long - 48 hours without a break, accompanied by thunder and lightning for most of the time. We popped out to the supermarket on Saturday morning and haven't set foot outside since! According to the 'net, there were floods in many local towns and we had at least 8" of rainfall as the recycling box was full to the brim this morning and that's how deep it is.

Its finally stopped so we're going to get out for some fresh air soon.

Well done orlao, lantanna and anyone else reporting in with a loss, that's an achievement with less than a week till Christmas. :T

    Have a good day everyone.

    LL :)

I have friends in Spain who've been posting pics of their dog walks in torrential rain. Not been too bad here for a change :D

    - I am well impressed with any of the losses or maintaining for this time of year with all the temptations!

1lb loss for me which I am v happy with

I take my measurements and can see them getting smaller most weeks :) I am getting in to size 12/14 and have just had a purge of all my big clothes (size 18) and taken them to the charity shop. I think I was really a size 20 :o as some of them are stretched out of shape - but those have gone in the bin.

Well done everyone, skinny seasonal :grouphug:hugs to all that need them xxx :santa2::xmastree:

    Morning

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done MM for SOTW. :T

Well done to all the losers, it's amazing how well people are doing at this time of year with so much temptation around.

I spoke too soon yesterday, thinking we'd seen the last of the rain, DH and I drove to the marina intending to do a walk we often do, but the sky over the sea was as black as coal so we walked a short distance to look at the waves and then headed to a coffee bar - we should have gone straight back to the car because by the time we'd had a coffee it was chucking it down and we got soaked. Today is looking much more like it should, the sun is out but it's chilly.

The last few days haven't been great for losing weight, no activity to speak of and too many opportunities to consume Syns, so the next few days I'm going to return to 777. My next social event is a Christmas sing song and someone will have to drive so I'll volunteer my services and stick to tonic. After that there's a party on Christmas Eve and then the big day and I'm planning to enjoy myself, but I'll avoid unnecessary Syns as much as possible (with the exception of alcohol!)

    Have a good day everyone.

I was at a Strictly party on Saturday and once the champagne was flowing any restraint went out of the window.

  • Blimey, SOTW. Never expected that. Thanks Shala for keeping us in line and on the chart.
Don't think the same will happen this week but I've a good bit of wriggle room.
Trying to shift the enormous ironing pile and get the house sorted before Christmas but failing dismally as I keep getting distracted.
Weigh in tomorrow so we'll see the mince pie damage then.
