elated to report -4lb from last nights weigh in! yeehaa 2lb off would take me to what I was before the wedding.

    :)

:j that's amazing lush, so pleased for you. Plodding definitely worked for you.:D

You have the reverse tactic to me at carveries. I've learned to say no to the monster Yorkshire pudding at the beginning and move swiftly on. Then I pile my plate with veg and hope there'll be hardly any room for the roasties which are at the far end of the counter.;) Enjoy your meal.

Maman - Just picked up a top in the sale in oasis that will do for Saturday and it will do for lanzarote as well. I did treat myself to a Mac lipstick though, I find that a new lipstick colour works wonders for my wellbeing......No idea why, but feel I can take on the world when I get a new lipstick lol

Getting my gelish nails, HD brows and cluster lashes done tonight. Looking forward to it as getting it all done for £35 and haven't had my nails done this year  At that offer I couldn't refuse.

That's a great idea buying in a sale for Christmas and your trip to the Canaries. I always work on cost per wear so I'm sure it'll work out a bargain. The pampering sounds a bargain too.

No problem with the lipstick. That's hardly likely to be too big for you in the new year!:rotfl:

Those were small gains beanie and Shala. Just keep doing your best with damage limitation:).

I've had a pleasingly SW friendly day. We've been to a National Trust place and I was expecting to have to eat sandwiches or cake! Fortunately (for a light lunch) they had JPs so just a few syns for mayo. I thought of you wiz as they had bacon and lentil soup...£4.50 a bowl with a piece of bread:eek: Scratch meal this evening as I'm trying to eat up fresh stuff and make some space in the freezer, fridge and cupboards and manage without a big shop until it's time for Christmas foods.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast
    L: Tuna jacket with leaves
D: savoury mince, new potatoes, carrot & parsnip mash, cabbage
    Syns: weekend wine:j

I'm having this which is absolutely gorgeous if you like fizz. Shame it's not one of the Super Six meg:D.

1.5 lbs off for me this week please Shala. Really pleased with that.

Not so pleased with the fall off the wagon that happened last night; it was almost as if I dived headfirst into a vat of chocolate. Oh well, it was only one night and I am back on the plan today.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

    Morning

I'm a bit tired this morning - DH has a cold and was tossing and turning, coughing, sneezing and snoring all night and on top of that its been chucking it down again. There's a flood warning for the whole of eastern Spain so we won't be doing much today, although I need to pop out for a few bits for the Strictly Soiree later.

We had a great night out last night, despite DH's cold. Went to a party with a really good soul singer who sang all my favourites so we danced all night. I was driving so I was on tonic light but I did have some of the more SW friendly buffet items.

Great loss Lush! Brilliant for the time of year. :T And well done too Emmylou. :T

Commiserations Beanie and Shala, at least they were small gains and you both know why.

What are HD brows Lantanna, High Definition? I'm considering having something done to mine as they're so pale they're invisible. I've tried pencilling them but it never looks right!

Have a good day everyone, this time next week it will be Christmas Eve so avoid getting stressed with Christmas shopping.

    Hi all :A
WI with loss of 1.2lb so that's last weeks gain gone. Probably was the bacon then :D. Am a bit surprised to be honest as this week is always stressful for me. Monday was 3 years since we lost our Mumsy :( and Wednesday would have been my sons birthday :( also had a bad day with 1-1 which caused a bit of a panic attack :(. Finished for Christmas now though :T
Not been much interest in my job share so looking like I will have to carry on for a while in new year :(

Trying to feel in the spirit but it's so hard, 'might' do the tree this weekend if not next week if I feel a bit more like it :o

Had more chocolate than I should have this week too but the need outweighed the thought :o also at a staff leaving do, gluten free Christmas cake slices were bought specially for me so had to have one (wished I hadn't as so sweet and sickly :().
Anyway hope everyone's having a good weekend :A keep the faith all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Sorry this is such a difficult time of year for you TIE, well done on managing a loss even though sticking to plan must have been the last thing you felt like. Hope you're okay.

Well done to all our losers, some great results - especially yours Lush!

I weighed in today and have lost 2lbs which I'm pleased about. Hoping for another two next week then I'm relaxing things for three days over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day and then back on it. That's the plan anyway!

:Ton your losses betty and tie. When you think how badly some RL groups are doing at this time of the year I think we're bucking the trend.:D

Like many of us I'm going for some off plan treats over the Christmas period. Last night I was thinking about prioritising syns so I enjoy them. What each of us consider a waste of syns will vary of course. My list of worthwhile syns to go on my shopping list includes crisps, some good bread for turkey sandwich, chocolate marzipan and ginger, cheese, dauphinoise potatoes, small portion of Christmas pudding with cream, extra wine syns.......That's a long enough list so hope I don't think of any more.

Enjoy your strictly soiree lois. I'm out dancing again tonight so we'll both be keeping up with the Body Magic. I've not been to this venue before but I'm told that supper usually has lean meat and salads so may be OK there. If I have a drink it will only be a nightcap when I get home so should offset any mayo/dressing in salads. I'm hoping that fruit is available for pudding but I don't find puddings hard to resist.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: fried veg, ham and pickles
    D: tbc
Syns: squirt of syrup and whatever happens this evening

WI this morning and lost 2lbs, quite pleased with this.

Had our taster session at group and it was lovely! Loads of treats - lemon drizzle cake, carrot cake, SW ferrero rocher which were lush and a SW baileys drink.

Am now 10lbs away from my target - 3lb to my 7st award. Was hoping to get that by Xmas, but I'm sure it's not gonna happen now.

2 members got to target in group today.

Hope everyone has a good week! x
