Oh dear I am in a proper quandary, is there anyone who has to eat free from Bread etc. :o

I had been having problems after eating bread etc. So for a week I have had free from porridge and free from bread. With no tummy ache nor feeling sickly. I just don't know how to manage slimming world. If there is anyone experiencing the same thing and can give me any advice I would appreciate it.
If I haven't lost anything this week it maybe because I have not eaten correctly. :o

I just count them as HEBs and use same size servings.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi Denise, I have porridge because it fills me and lasts till lunch time I have fruit with it. I seem to be eating quite a bit fruit without having extra in tinned fruit as for nuts, I love them but I can't eat them with my teeth .. which are false hehe. If I do have tinned fruit how much is a HE.

It varies Wiz but I know that fruit cocktail is the whole tin (without the juice!) - because that's what I have sometimes although not very often.

Just had a quick look and you can have 300g canned sliced apple; 350g pears; 125g prunes (yuk!). They have to be canned in juice and not syrup.

If you cook fruit yourself you can usually have more.

    HTH.

Didn't have as many syns as expected yesterday as decided on shorts rather than wine so not too many syns to rein back in this week.

Got in a bit of body magic today with a load of clearing up and sorting stuff for the charity shop - getting rid of loads of books and it's left me with a few shelves which I can now use for other stuff. Still more sorting to do but it's getting there.

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up
    L - roast pork & apple sandwich (HEB + 2); a few grapes
D - roast lamb, roast potatoes, roast carrots & onions, red cabbage, green cabbage, mashed swede.

Hoping that having all the extra veg this evening will make up for the lack of it during the day.

    Hi All.

Have been a bit naughty this week and been out for 2 Christmas meals, one on Monday night and the other on Friday afternoon after work. I weigh in on Saturday morning and was horrified to find that I'd gained 3.5lbs.

Trying to lose weight at this time of year is definitely a test of your willpower and I want to do it.

I now have 5lbs to go for my 7st award and 12lbs to go to get to my target weight, but am determined to do it!

We have a taster session this Saturday and think I might do the Pistachio loaf.

    Have a good week all.

What recipe do you use for the pistachio loaf Abbafan? Can't see one on the SW website.

Apologies it's called Pistachio, Fig & Lemon Biscotti (couldn't remember the name), but it's in the latest Christmas Book.

I couldn't find it on the website either, so here is a photo of the page in the book.

Thanks. I'll have a look in the book this week! Can't actually read the recipe properly, LOL! Eyes not so good these days!
