Oh dear I am in a proper quandary, is there anyone who has to eat free from Bread etc.
I had been having problems after eating bread etc. So for a week I have had free from porridge and free from bread. With no tummy ache nor feeling sickly. I just don't know how to manage slimming world. If there is anyone experiencing the same thing and can give me any advice I would appreciate it.
If I haven't lost anything this week it maybe because I have not eaten correctly.0 -

Wiz I don't eat free from products but is it absolutely necessary for you to have bread and porridge? Iff not there are loads of other things you could have as HEB instead like dried fruit, tinned fruit in juice, nuts and seeds.

Hi Denise, I have porridge because it fills me and lasts till lunch time I have fruit with it. I seem to be eating quite a bit fruit without having extra in tinned fruit as for nuts, I love them but I can't eat them with my teeth .. which are false hehe. If I do have tinned fruit how much is a HE.0

Lush - I sometimes think you might not be eating enough. I know it sounds odd to say that when we're all trying to lose weight but I've heard it said before so there must be something in it.
I definitely think that that is a huge problem for me; I don't really know why. I do have weeks where I try to eat more but then I feel like I'm constantly eatingI feel your frustration lush. on such a tight budget you really can't be wasting money on going to a group that isn't helping you. You know the plan as well as any of us so 'back to basics' has to be the answer and maybe trying out some EESP meals or days and a version of 777 or at least plenty of water. If I look at your plan for the week ahead there does seem to be a lot of juggling with different meals for you and the family though. Fine if you have freezer food to use up for them as that'll save you money but not good if you have to buy in different things plus you have enough stress without that. I'm not forcing my DH to do SW but he does eat SW evening meals. He can please himself with lunches as he has sandwiches or snacks and he can have sugary muesli for breakfast when I'm having Shreddies but cooking different meals is a step too far for me. I know I'm a bossy c*w but it never did me (or him) any harm.I'm not really buying much especially for him now but I do always have nuggets and something else like that in the freezer for him for lazy days. I usually have some homemade ready meals in there for me but I've run it right down recently
going to start using a water bottle so that I can keep on track of my fluid intake.
Once I'm back on top of the food budget I can get more varieties of speed in. I just have spinach, tomatoes, cauliflower, snack pepper, onions at the moment.gettingtheresometime wrote: »I'm of the strong opinion that the class leader is definitely the X factor ....fortunately I've got a lovely class leader who will support you throughout the week if you're struggling.
LLS - have you looked at your council gyms? I know mine do a monthly package which can be tailored to your wants. So for example I've got the swimming package at the moment and it £20 pm which means I can go to the pool any time as well as any of the Aquafit classes. I've worked it out I only have to go 7 times and after that I'm saving money.
I'm thinking of upgrading to include the gym package which would mean it would cost £28 per month but as well as the swimming etc I could go to the gym and any gym classes.
I feel like I'm letting her down by leaving but at the same time I'm paying for no progress compared to having made great progress at home!
I used to have a memebrhsip with the council which was £20.12 per month and then went up slightly which was access to all classes (did zumba once a week) the gyms all over the city (went twice a week) and the pool at the newest centre (went once a week - all pre pregnancy obviously) however I could pay that now but I'd never be able to go because I've no childcare at times I could and OH can't have littlie all evening after having her all afternoon
It can only get better/easier/cheaper************************************

I have inhaled sugar over the last couple of days, so I'm glad to see you're all doing much better than me. Keep it up!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Greentiger ~~ boo to football.
I have drunk and eaten my body weight in the last couple of days. I had lunch out Friday & then the SW night out at the Indian. Then yesterday I just craved sweet stuff all day.
Was disappointed on Friday as got a glimpse of myself in a full length mirror and it was not a pretty sight from the back. As my posture is so poor & I have a very hollow back. Morning
Had a great night out last night - a live rock band, so plenty of dancing, we walked there and back (1 km each way), and I stuck to tonic water all evening. I did have a small brandy nightcap when we got back, but I'm pleased with how little I've had to drink this week and really hope it has a good result when I weigh in the morning. If it doesn't it's because I haven't 'been' - sorry if that's TMI
Beanie - an Indian for a SW night out? :rotfl: That just seems like the last place to go unless it was a case of Syns don't count if the whole group eats them at the same time. :rotfl: Hope you enjoyed it anyway.
We're off out for a walk soon, so enjoy the rest of the weekend.
