Welcome Allotrope to our lovely thread :)
    Keep posting!

    Ditto!

I've done HB in the slow cooker but definitely need to thicken the gravy on the hob as it doesn't thicken like it does in the oven. I much prefer to do it in the oven.

    Today's plan:

    B - Beans on toast
L - LO HB beef, cabbage & mash (1 syn as I added a glass of red wine to it yesterday for 6 syns and got 6 portions from it)
D - sausages, egg, chips, mushrooms

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 4; HB beef 1

Keeping syns low this week to make up some of the extras over the weekend.

    Hi all..

Trying to be golden today :A OH text me to say he's eaten all the biscuits in the house last night so I wont be tempted anymore.. he's a good un :rotfl:

Good luck with 7777 Lois, :D you've just motivated me to go and get another glass of water. I wasn't going to bother doing it this week but needs must!

    Menu today
    B - oranges, yogurt, choc shot (0.5), oats (0.5heb)
L - homemade chicken noodle soup - chicken, carrots, onion, leeks, stock etc
T - chicken egg fried rice, (peppers, onions in it)
    S - 2 satsumas, crisps (3.5) popcorn (3) apple

Still have 0.5 heb left in case I need a hifi bar :T and the popcorn is for snacking later when OH is out (my danger time)

so 7 speed foods, 7 syns, and hopefully by the end of the evening 7 glasses of water!

    Have a good day xxx

  • Well done chocomonsta for sotw! And thank you Shala for the chart!

    Food today has been -

    B - weetabix (HeB)
    L - tuna salad
D - kfc style chicken thighs and veg
Snacks - carrot and cucumber sticks
Syns - ummmm... I think a curly wurly (6) tonight!
Milk in tea and cereal for my HeA.

Weigh in tomorrow. I'm hoping just for a tiny loss, although I've not been at all naughty this week I feel all bloated and gross. Think my ibs is playing up but haven't eaten anything different to make it go crazy! Never mind!

    Xxx
  • Well done Chocomonsta !

    And thanks Shala also.

Hubby went out tonight so I've had mackerel and veg & even though he's come home and complained about the smell....I enjoyed it!

    Morning

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done chocomonsta for SOTW. :T

Shala, I'm not sure if your oh deserves a medal or a slap for eating all the biscuits- very noble of him! :rotfl:

Well, yesterday started well, and continued exactly to plan until 10pm and then some celebratory wine Syns were consumed. :o. DH and I went to a whist drive in the evening and just before we left I received a cryptic text message from our friends so we went round to see them straight from whist to find they'd had an offer accepted on a place round the corner from us. So I had more than 7 Syns! Back to plan today...
Can't get over the price increase of muller yogurts ...anyone have a more MSE option?.

When I'm in the uk I buy WW yogurts which are generally £1 for a pack of 4 and they're free on SW. I like the dessert recipe ones in particular.

Tuesday is usually shopping day for us but I discovered last night that today is a Spanish holiday so the shops are shut  DH is out all day tomorrow playing golf, and there's another holiday on Thursday. DH was planning to have the car for golf but I've told him he'll have to get a lift or live on salad for 3 days as that's all there is in the fridge.

    Have a good day everyone.
