I've cooked it in the slow cooker before, it was lovely but you do have to thicken the gravy up after as nothing gets evaporated.Hello! Funny time to start slimming but need to so why not?
Not sure how to subscribe to threads or how this forum really works, any pointers?
Looking forward to shedding some lbs

Wiz - the Nairns porridge is 40g for a heb and the Tesco free from Multseed bread (1 slice) is also a HEB, I can't see the wholemeal but i'm assuming 60g = heb also. Hope that helps

Went out yesterday ended up having a curry with half & half but drank soft drinks ( even though I wasn't driving) and had a white coffee instead of dessert so there was so damage limitation going on!

Morning all
Reporting in with a STS this week. I've probably dodged a bullet there after having an Indian and carvery, I really need to get things moving so I'm going to stick strictly to 777 this week. In fact I'll make it 7777 - 7 speed, 7 water, and 7 Syns for 7 days.
There's more rain forecast for today but it's just cloudy at the moment so hopefully they've got it wrong. DH and I are going into town regardless so wel'll get some exercise. We don't tend to do much shopping, just going to soak up some festive atmosphere.
Welcome to the thread Allotrope, it's never too soon to start again and you'll enjoy Christmas even more if you're in control and don't have extra pounds to lose in the new year.
Have a good day everyone.
