I've made my salad for lunch today - I was super good, I actually made it last night as I can sometimes be a bit tired in the morning and didn't want to get in the "can't be ar**d" mood.
I also got back into my running yesterday after 2 weeks off and did 4 miles in just under 48 minutes - a very good run for me.

    Morning all

Reporting in with a loss of 1lb. Friday's sneaky peek was showing a small gain so I've managed to turn it around over the weekend. I still have 1lb to lose to be back at 3.5 stone so if I put a bit more effort in this week I should do it.

I like the sound of the 7-7-7 challenge, but there's no way I'm going to drink all that water! I much prefer mine boiled and added to tea or coffee. :rotfl: I could drink herbal tea instead, would that count?

Good luck to all the Monday weighers, well done to the losers and commiserations if you've gained this week.

    Have a good week.

That's some saving MrsP, well done for helping her. I can't believe power companies get away with overcharging someone so much

Herbal tea should count Lois. I really struggle with water and speed and syns :rotfl: so it's really hard for me to do it! Had a terrible caffeine withdrawal head ache this morning so hoping that goes away pretty sharpish!

Off to town this morning to run some errands and check out some bits for Xmas.. Need to make sure I eat before I go!

    So menu for today
    B - Apple, yogurt
L - Bns soup (bns, onion, chicken, orzo)
T - chicken, carrots, broccoli, gravy (1) potatoes
    S - crisps (3.5) satsumas, melon

2.5 syns left for the day

    :T:T well done..

Feel for you on the audits. Keep the auditors sweet with lots of tea/coffee and try and talk to them about other stuff like tv and football. It seems to work at our place :rotfl:

  • Wow well done Lantanna!

Maman please can you remind me what your plan was for getting back on track? I've had a look back through the thread but can't find it in among all the posts.

My consultant texted me last night to say I got Slimmer of the Month for November. It's a bit embarrassing as I had two great weeks and then missed two weeks (one as sick and one as planned holiday) and gained a pound both of those weeks!! I REALLY need to get them off before I show my face on Saturday...

The bad news is I gained 2 lbs. and that takes me an annoying half a pound over target.:(:(:(

I have to be good and stick to plan for the coming week and ideally beyond to get well into target range before Christmas. This is how I'm going to do it:

    • I'm going to go without wine syns on Friday evening (If I tell you all it'll help me stick to it:)). That'll give me a safety net for syns across the week.
    • I have one meal out planned for Tuesday and I'm having one glass of wine and I'm not going to have chips!
    • I'm going to try really hard to up the amount of water I drink and replace tea/coffee with hot Ribena when I can.
    • I'm going to try and make my lunches SP when possible starting today.
    • Anything else I can think of....

It definitely worked because I lost 3.5lbs. I tailed off on the water a bit because it's not so practical on days when I'm out and about;). I had one completely SP day (as I'm planning today) and a lot more SP lunches than expected. Fortunately I never have a problem with Speed. Most days I have none for breakfast and then 50% for lunch and dinner. I think the biggest boost was being certain I was within syns.

This week I've got a Christmas thing coming up on Friday and I'm planning to wear my purple lace dress which is allegedly a size 8. It's realistically more like a 10 but I don't want to be bursting out of it. So with the weekend behind me I'm going to do my best.

    Today's EESP plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 boiled eggs
L: ham, fried veg (all Speed no potatoes), pickled cabbage
D: cottage pie with swede & carrot topping, cabbage, broccoli, peas
    Syns: none

B - 3 x laughing cow mini cravings on HEXB toast (2 syns)

D - Chicken noodle soup, melon and half a punnet of cherry tomatoes

T - Chicken and prawn stirfry

    HEXA - Milk in tea

Going to have a Bournville Highlights for another 2 and leave it at 4 today.

BM - Usual hustle and bustle.
