Morning all
Good point about grapes Maman, specially the fermented kind!
The writer mentions the number of teaspoons of sugar in passata and tinned tomatoes, but is that added sugar, or the fruit sugar from the tomatoes, and if it's the latter, is that a problem? I try to avoid added sugar whenever I can but fruit is recommended - we're encouraged to eat 5 fruit and veg a day so it can't be bad for you.
Shala - no wonder you were 'hangry' after days like that! Hope today is better.
Wiz - tea cakes vary on the SW website and they don't have Iceland ones on there, however they average 10 Syns each without butter.
The weather is looking more promising today so I might get out in the sun today. DH and I took advantage of a break in the rain yesterday afternoon to have a walk down to the beach, but only just got back before there was a huge thunderstorm with really heavy rain, I'm glad I wasn't out in that.
Have a good day everyone.

Decided against going to Group this morning and just went shopping. Tried to get DH's christmas gift but couldn't find anything I think he'd like! Biggest problem is I don't get out and about much without him - only really Thursday mornings. Still I'll have to try again in a couple of weeks.
Shala - can you put me down forSTS again for this week as fairly certain I haven't shifted anything this week!
Today's plan:
B - fruit (ate in the car once I decided I wasn't going to WI
L - scrambled eggs on toast; salad leaves, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, pickled onions, cornichons
D - lamb tagine & couscous 3 syns
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - apricots in tagine 3 syns; bag of party rings (last one!) 5.5

Morning everyone
Nothing really happening in GTS' world ...a case of same (insert expletive) different day.
Didn't go swimming yesterday morning (don't know what's wrong with me can't summon up the enthusiasm to get up!) but wentr last night instead even though the energy levels weren't there even then. I did enjoy it though once I'd got there.
Tonight is danger night as a KFC is doing the catering so I think I'll have my pasta pot from Tesco ....I do pinch a couple pieces of chicken but eat no where near the amount I did before SW.
With regards alcohol I also managed to acquire a wine glass that is triple marked so I know exactly how much wine I'm having and have also acquired an optic so if I do have a spirit I can measure that as well. I'm trying to find on ebay someone that will sell the marked wine glass as a single item - as I know it will get broke as some point in the future -but having difficultly - there's a untapped market out there!
Situation with son has improved slightly....he's going to look at a house on the weekend so hopefully he'll either buy it or realise he hasn't got such a bad deal after all lol!0 -
Feeling a bit deflated today.
Just got home from an interview at work.. It was a disaster to say the least.
I now want to eat everything in sight.. I won't though.. I'm having a fruit cider as planned tonight when I get back from the gym.
B - 40g honey nut shredded wheat (HeB)
L - bolognese with some salad
D - chicken of some kind. Undecided yet. Maybe kfc style. Sw chips and veg.
Milk in tea as HeA.
Hifi bar as 2nd HeB.
Cider - about 15 Syns (it will soooo be worth it!)

Well done to all the losers so far this week and hugs to all that need them. And welcome InTrouble28, which part of the Caribbean are you going to?

Sorry to hear about your interview RJ, hopefully it wasn't as bad as you think!
Welcome InTrouble28 I'm sure you'll look and feel fabulous for that wedding
I'm weighing in early this week as we're off for a weekend away tomorrow and it's a 1lb gain for me! Whoops! I couldn't force myself to get back on track this week - a mixture of feeling unwell with a chest infection and star week. I really must get back to it before my next official WI as I can see the pattern of gain and loss (that scuppered me after my summer hols) returning.
How do you girls motivate yourself when you've strayed from the path?:think:0 -
Great news. I went to WI this morning and lost 3.5 lbs!:j
That's me back bang on target.:D It means my plan from last week worked. I think the biggest thing was having an extra alcohol free night on Friday which meant there was no chance of going over syns.
Had a bit of a scare last night. I'd been eating a (ridiculously expensive:eek:) Duchy Original wholemeal bread from Waitrose for some of my HEBs and realised it wasn't listed so thought I may have had extra syns. I'm now convinced that it's any wholemeal that's acceptable and it's probably not listed as the Prince of Wales doesn't want to join Muller and pay to be sponsored! On the good news side, the consultant did a reminder of SP today and I'd forgotten that cottage cheese counts as Protein (whereas I think of it in the yogurt camp) so I probably had more SP meals than I thought.
When it comes to calories I don't think there's a difference lois. Sugar is sugar. I think the fact that grapes and pineapple aren't Speed is probably because of high sugar content. I have a little sweetener but as I'm on my second tub in 6 years along with a small amount of squash I don't think that's an issue .Introuble28 wrote: »Hi Guys

Welcome trouble.:) When is the wedding? Do ask if there's anything we can help with. You'll probably get a faster answer on here than from your group.
Not sure what I'm doing this coming week. I'd love to have another big loss and get to the bottom of target range but it might take a little longer. We're out to lunch on Saturday for DD2's birthday and I don't fancy another steak and salad but I'm going to do my best to be good through the week.
