Lush - you've got busy times ahead but you sound like you're organised and ready to deal with anything. Hope it goes well.

    I try....not always successful but I try :)

    today:
breakfast - shake (250ml almond milk from hea)
snack - hard boiled egg, coffee and 2 ginger nuts (6)
lunch - speedy stew (from my freezer) allowing 2 syn
snack: hard boiled egg, Satsuma, apple, coke zero
tea: shake (250ml almond milk from hea)
    if needed: chicken mugshot (1)
have also had a fondant fancie - 5.5 syn.

the ginger nuts were not planned but I needed something with some painkillers. no other syns with me or planned!

really need to get back on it properly - pay day tomorrow (yay!) so plan to get some mint choc bars at group if there is any and then at the weekend get some shopping in (fruit and veg mainly plus fresh meat). going to go back to weekend prepping of various fruit/veg and also have baked oats for my breakfasts mostly as can make a couple at a time and reheat :)

have found a Tesco express 10 mins walk from the sports venue for the rugby trip in December so I may well walk there and back for meal deals (sandwich for husband, pasta for little one and probably sushi for me) which saves a headache. will take fruit and bars too

I have had another blood test and I am waiting to hear if this one is correct and I have anemia. Just wondering. Why I have never had it before. I thought it was due to a poor diet. Well, I don't think I have a poor diet. I seem to have everything I need. I am diabetic so it could be through that although I have had that since 2003.:)

Wiz can't see the teacake on the website but fruit scone is 11.5:eek:. Wouldn't have thought a teacake would be any better though!

If you've got the details from the pack I can run it though the calculator for you to get an accurate figure.

Has anyone else read the latest post on the old thread? It's quite long and basically a lecture about sugar and the futility of following slimming plans that encourage eating it, but it makes interesting reading, some of which I agree with.
    )

It just made me  I hate being lectured and basically told we're uneducated because we eat sugar/belong to SW! it would be nice if that person would step outside themselves and see it from a different angle..

I'm all for opinion and debate but I found it a little condescending and judgemental.. Also they have obviously searched for that thread as it hasn't been posted on since Sept so just trying to cause trouble!

(By the way I do agree with the sugar thing but not everyone can just give it up, educated or not, if it were so easy then everyone would be a size 8)

Out of interest, how many extra syns do you allow yourself maman?
I think you need to experiment but I'd say probably about 40 although not every week's the same. If you had an extra HEB every day that would be 42 syns. I'm not sure I'd maintain on a HEB and a HEA (84 extra??).

I'm working on it!!;):D If only there wasn't sugar in grapes!:rotfl:

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: lentil and veg soup, 1 slice ham, rocket, tomato and cottage cheese
D: baked haddock, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (asparagus, broccoli, green beans).
    Syns: None!

WI tomorrow. I don't feel any different. Fingers crossed.:)

Well done all the losers :T:T

I was properly hangry earlier (maybe you could tell :rotfl:) and had a bit of a food meltdown so totally off plan for tea with cheese, crackers, crisps and some other picky bits - haven't decided if I'm going to class tomorrow or not yet :o

I've had a bad/ruined food few days so I think it's put me over the edge - Monday I spilt a whole glass of pop over my desk at work and then had a meeting so didn't eat breakfast until 12, Tuesday saw the arrival of American sweets bought back by our lovely American colleague, yesterday I cooked SW chips then spilt a whole pot of salt on them and then burnt my toast  so I think tonight I just gave up :rotfl:

Go to class Shala, you'll feel better off having been no matter what it says.

I'm not even going to read it - can't be bothered getting annoyed lol.
