  • Well done Ruby!

Hubby went out tonight so had a SW cottage pie with veg - far more on plan than a Chinese which we would have had pre-SW ....not sure layabout son enjoyed it but if he can't be asked to cook an alternative, he gets what I cook lol!

Didn't go swimming this morning but booked to go to Aquafit tomorrow.

Congrats on some great losses girls!

Glad to hear your Mum is home and getting some help Tweets, it must be a weight off your mind.

lantanna hope you're not feeling too down about the gain, you seem pretty positive and determined to keep going.

My GP has just put me on the mini-pill as a way to try and control my menstrual migraines. I noticed that one of the side effects is "weight gain" which I'm worried about - it's hard enough losing each week without an extra barrier in the way!! Do any of you have experience of the mini pill and was the weight gain significant???

I've been on the mini pill for a few years with no weight gain. Any gains have been of my own making by eating the wrong things :o

Had a bit of a bad weekend so will have to try harder to pull it back by weigh in :p
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Dear only knows, just going to see what Saturday brings this week. Was tossing and turning this morning at 5 am panicking about my weight and how I could end up all the way back to square one.

Went to the gym last night and going again today. My legs feel very tight and yes I do get water retention so hopefully it will sort itself out over the next few weeks or Il go insane lol

Can't see the chart Shala for some reason but thanks for your work on it anyway! Congratulations Ruby Eskimo on SOTW.

    Today's EE plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
    L - LO bean & sausage casserole - 1 syn
D - shepherd's pie with green veg of some sort

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 1

No other planned syns. Have melon & oranges to snack on if necessary.

  • Well done Ruby for SOTW! :T

Thanks TIE, that is reassuring to hear :)

I'm going to Glasgow this weekend so no weigh-in for me on Saturday - I MUST NOT use that as an excuse to go crazy!
  • Can't believe I got SOTW! Thanks everyone!

Just popping in to check in. Went out to Frankie and Benny's for dinner last night as the husband has been offered a permanent job after acting up for a few months. Was good and had the caprese salad and oven baked salmon - no idea on syns but I estimate that it's not the worst I could have picked.

    Today's menu is:

B - Porridge (1 syn and HEB), tesco breakfast topper (mango, pineapple, strawberries)
L - Jacket potato with beans and HEA cheese, salad
D - Bacon, leek and mushroom risotto
    S - Pear, 2 clementines, 4 mikado (2 syns)

Hope you all have a great day!

  • Good morning all!

    Weighed in this morning...

3lb loss which I'm happy with except if I don't gain 1lb next week I have to start paying again. I'm thinking of dropping my target... My sw lady is a bit of **** (use your imagination for that one..)!

I asked for her advice and all she could come up with was 'have more healthy extras'.. Well I don't measure my milk anyway cause if I want tea then I'm having it. I don't really eat cheese. So I've been having a healthy b pretty much everyday..

    Meh! Xx
