Hi everyone, at last something to report Shala a 1 lb. loss not much but I suppose it's like a lb of lard...

Maman you will be pleased to know I've had the 'talk' with the powers that be! I will be job sharing (when they get someone ). We did have a break through which made me think what have I done! When young man had meltdown, instead of violence and destruction he sat with me and talked it through :T. I'm now concerned the progress we've made with go backwards when I'm not with him. Won't happen until the new year though so hopefully the more progress we make the better for him (fingers crossed).
Downside is I move back to reception as there are so many needy children, just hoping it's not frying pan to fire
Another good thing is next week is my last unit visit for a while so less anxiety for me :T
Hopefully things are looking up :D

I'm delighted tie.:A You're very conscientious which is brilliant but not to the detriment of your own health. Keep us posted. :)

So pleased to hear about your mum tweets. It'll give you some peace of mind that she has plenty of help.:)

Disappointing lunch yesterday. We stopped in Debenhams cafeteria on the way to football (good point:D) and I had a tuna JP. Last time I was there were decent pieces of tuna, spring onions and a side salad. For their 'new Christmas menu' the salad had been replaced with guacamole (which I refused) and it was a mush with probably more mayo than tuna just plonked in a cereal bowl. No doubt they can buy in vats of guacamole and tuna mush and do better portion control so protecting their profit margins. I won't be going there again.

I've cooked a swede and I'll be making up swede/carrot mash. I'm going to prep a SP cottage pie for tomorrow and have some with dinner today.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, half HEB toast, fried egg, ham, tomatoes, mushrooms
L: I haven't fancied any lunch yet so I'll probably just snack on some fruit and/or have a cuppa with an Aldi Benefit bar.
D: roast beef, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cauli, broccoli, swede mash
    Syns: gravy, weekend wine:)

well it was a lovely piece of pork but I did have a small piece of crackling.....whilst mum was giving me the evil eye but as I said to her I want it so I'm eating it.

son is peeing men off at mo - I wasn't going to buy any muller lights as a) I had some in the fridge b) the nice limited edition flavours (turksish delight) seem to have disappeared and c) I refuse to pay 68p for a pot.

However we called into morrisons and they had 12 for £3 and as I have 2 (1 with my cereals and one after lunch) I don't see the issue. Anyway he made a scarcastuc comment about me eating what I already had before buying more .

It's not like I'm asking him to lay for them or I waste them. I would say does anyone want a partial trained layabout but I know I don't so can't see why anyone else would.

He's 24 so not a youngster by any stretch of the imagination.

He will do things if you are specific but it wouldn't occur to him to do any ironing or take the rubbish out.

He needs to find a place of his own - I've told him we'd help but there's no way in hell will I help if he can prove he's not house trained

    Hello all!

Feel much better at the moment, going to WI in the morning and assess the damage, I don't deserve an STS, but I'm hoping that not really eating *much* due to cold/chest infection has minimised the gain.

Brinner was bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans and toast.

Tea was savoury mince and broccoli.

Cooking up a huge pan of chicken noodle soup at the moment to try and shift my lurgy once and for all. Will take that, melon, pineapple and a muller light to work.

    Rest TBA :)
