I've no idea how its happened. My only thoughts are maybe its water surrounding the muscle from exercising. Very very strange though. I could understand it if I'd went crazy for a week but I haven't. Will just have to see what this Saturday brings.

:T ruby, lois, topgirl and orlao on your losses. I think you're amazing having WI on a Monday morning.

Oh lantanna. I feel for you.:grouphug: I find it hard to get my head around the science but I think it's something to do with muscle being denser than fat so you could be losing bulk (i.e. toning ) but weighing just as much or even more because of building muscle and the muscle doesn't take up as much room. Do you feel bigger? Notice it in your clothes? If I were you I'd plod on doing the right thing but perhaps see your GP if you have massive water retention. Hang on in there.:A

Stay away from the giant Yorkshires!!

I wondered where you were lois. Glad I may have helped you over a bit of a wobble:). I hope my plan helps me too. It would be easy to give up and just stuff my face with crisps and cheese and eat whatever I liked but (thinking about the for and against lists) I absolutely hated being fat. There wasn't a day that went past when I wasn't ashamed of myself. I don't want to go back there again.

Although I'll be back in target range if I lose just half a pound I want to lose more. I'm still keeping up the water intake and well within my syn bank. It doesn't feel like I've lost anything yet but the scales will let me know on Thursday.

    Today's SP plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: veggie stir fry
D: cottage pie with swede and carrot mash, Speed veg (probably cauli, broccoli, cabbage) and maybe peas
    Syns: squirt of syrup
ETA: Just realised that I'm having a SP day. I won't have an extra HEB though as DH always makes generous portions of porage.

Congrats on some great losses girls!

Glad to hear your Mum is home and getting some help Tweets, it must be a weight off your mind.

lantanna hope you're not feeling too down about the gain, you seem pretty positive and determined to keep going.

My GP has just put me on the mini-pill as a way to try and control my menstrual migraines. I noticed that one of the side effects is "weight gain" which I'm worried about - it's hard enough losing each week without an extra barrier in the way!! Do any of you have experience of the mini pill and was the weight gain significant???

    Good Afternoon

    Thank you :)

Weather been terrible today heavy rain ,wind and cold .

Felt lovely catching the bus home today instead of waiting for taxi to go to the hospital.

Well done to all the losers and hugs to whoever is struggling. I'm a bit in the latter group at the moment. Have had a very synful weekend and have probably used a week or more of syns! Am going to try and rein it in but not sure whether I'm going to group or not Thursday and definitely not next week (have booked 2 weeks holiday. This week for no particular reason and next week as I'm doing a day trip to France).

    Planning an SP day today:

B - melon & quark - more Speed than Protein
S - egg & cress sandwich HEB x 2 as large WM bread; no mayo or spread
L - ham salad - more Speed than Protein again
D - sausage (1 syn for 2 sausages) & bean cassoulet - Speed in the form of tomatoes, onions, tomato puree, garlic; Protein - beans ?Sausages (syns so not sure if Protein too)

    HEA - milk in teas
    Syns - sausages 1

    Well done losers.

Special hug for you, lantanna. I've heard the same thing as maman (muscles weighs more than fat). Keep doing the right thing and you'll get your reward.

As expected I put on 1lb this week - surprised it wasn't more, so no doubt my bad choices will come back to bite me next week.

    Hi guys

Sorry I forgot to check in last week, my baby was sick with this bronchial cough that is doing the rounds. He was awake most nights and I was like the living dead. Had to eventually go to doctor to get it sorted out. Needless to say my eating habits were rubbish.

Can you record a +3 lbs for me please SHALA.

Disgusted with myself but my little one comes first. Will do better next week, hopefully:o
I'm a new mam juggling baby, bills and everything else - phew!

Glad you didn't give up Lois :T:T

 Lantanna, [STRIKE]could it be the exercise that's done it? Have you done a lot more than usual? [/STRIKE] Sorry just read further and saw your other answer... still it's annoying when you know you've done the right thing!! Hopefully it'll pay off next week with a massive loss for you!!
