Thanks Maman. Have to agree it's very difficult to find anything healthy on most High Streets! After totting up last night's syns I ended up on 25.5:eek:. That's a lot of syns for something not very enjoyable. So I'll be trying to stick to 15 syns each day over the weekend and then rein it back in Mon-Wed next week and hopefully come out with some kind of loss next Thursday.
LLS - that's bad news about the car. Hopefully you can find a way to sort it out.
Today's plan:
B - porridge made with water; Mullerlight; mixed frozen fruit
L - ham & mushroom omlette; salad leaves; tomato; cucumber; beetroot; cornichons; pickled onions
D - pea & prawn risotto; only speed in this will be onion & garlic
Hoping that's enough Speed over the day, although I'll also have some fruit in between if peckish.
HEA - milk as usual
HEB - porridge
Syns - wine:D

:T on your loss tete. Good to see you getting sorted now you've got your kitchen back.
Hope you stick to your resolve FE. A jacket with mayo is probably only a few syns which is nothing compared to a sandwich. Be strong.:)
Going to the gym in the middle of the night!! Whatever next lantanna?? Have a great evening, hope you enjoy your syns.:)
Sounds like the evening from hell lush. Hope your car repair doesn't turn out too costly. Good that you lost a pound though.;)
I'm fed up with lack of healthy food on the High Street too denise. I think it's partly ease of cooking so they don't have to employ proper chefs just operatives to churn out a standard national menu which saves money plus deep frying and microwaving is quick. The pub I'm going to on Tuesday has buttered baby potatoes as a side but I wonder whether I can have them plain or the butter's already on them in some sort of pack. It'll be interesting to find out.
I'm keeping up with my water challenge. I've managed 1.5 litres so far and will have the rest (I'm aiming for close to 3l) in hot Ribena (it's chilly here but not so dire as your weather chocomonsta). I have a large mug that's about 500 ml so 3 of those should be fine.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: lentil and veg soup, slice of ham and beetrootchicken breast on chilli sauce, SW chips, green stuff
Syns: NONE
I'm adapting the chicken amatriciana recipe from a magazine using the sauce I make for patatas bravas, leaving out bacon. I'll be cooking the chicken in the oven rather than frying as I prefer that and I'll have the oven on for chips anyway.0 -
Eeek to car lush.
Hope you can get something sorted out.

Lowest syn Indian mains seem to be Chicken Dhansak or Lamb Rogan Josh. If you Google Indian restaurant syns Slimming World you'll get a list of all the usual dishes and sides.

Well done on your loss Shala and thank you for the birthday wishes
How is your back feeling Beanie?
Sorry to hear of your bad luck Lush, hope the car holds out a bit longer. Well done on your loss though!
As expected I gained today but only 1lb + which is better than I expected! I should have no problem losing that for next week and know how I'm going to do it so feeling okay with that.0 -
Well done hunny and Shala:T.
I found yesterday evening a bit of a struggle because I usually do 'weekend starts here' on Friday evening but I didn't so all good. Today will be much more synful but the bank is still full at 105 so can afford it. We're leaving for football shortly and will have lunch in town. DH may be drawn to the bratwurst on the Christmas market but I won't be so it'll either be a take away Pret salad or a JP somewhere if we stop.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB bread, kippers, HEA milk for drinks
L: as aboveHM pork burger, fried onions, SW chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff (broccoli, peas and asparagus).
Syns: scrape of spread, half Crunchie and weekend wine:j.0 -

B - wheatbran cake (3) yogurt (1) apple
L - snacky platter - chicken, pickles, salady bits etc
T - HM cheese burger (hea), roll (heb) salad, BNS or carrot chips
S - milk (1) other syns saved for any other snacks I may eat later
Also completed my weekly meal planner for the rest of the week:T proper prepared, but the hard part for this household is sticking to it! :rotfl:
