Sorry to hear you've been poorly candy and midge.Matron_Midge wrote: »Morning, going to start some Christmas shopping today so I thought I'd get sorted before I go.
:T for being organised midge.
I've been to group this morning (more of that in a moment:() and the consultant read out some advice about Christmas shopping. One of the raffle prizes was a bag of goodies to take with you when Christmas shopping. The advice was have a good breakfast before you go and either take a snack (as you've done) or stop off for a Subway salad or JP somewhere and have an Americano if you go to a coffee shop. Some of the flavoured Christmas coffees are horrendous!
The bad news is I gained 2 lbs. and that takes me an annoying half a pound over target.:(:(:(
Please bear with me while I think aloud. That's actually half a pound a week over 4 weeks since my last WI. I know it's because I've had too many syns as I've eaten out 7 times. I have to be good and stick to plan for the coming week and ideally beyond to get well into target range before Christmas. This is how I'm going to do it:- I'm going to go without wine syns on Friday evening (If I tell you all it'll help me stick to it:)). That'll give me a safety net for syns across the week.
- I have one meal out planned for Tuesday and I'm having one glass of wine and I'm not going to have chips!
- I'm going to try really hard to up the amount of water I drink and replace tea/coffee with hot Ribena when I can.
- I'm going to try and make my lunches SP when possible starting today.
- Anything else I can think of....
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: lentil and veg soup, small 'salad' of ham, cornichons and beetrootAustrian ham hash (onion, courgette, mushrooms, leeks, carrot, tomatoes) with cabbage

Well done to all the losers and our joint SOTW! ::T:T:T
Hope you're feeling better Candy, Midge and wizkid
Gingerfurball I hope you're okay.
I've been off plan this week - it was my birthday yesterday and I've been celebrating since Sunday! There have been dinners out, party teas and cake galore. I started the week trying to make the right choices but by yesterday it was ON. I know I'll have a fairly big gain and am expecting a bit of thinly veiled disapproval from my consultant on Saturday but ho-hum, as everyone keeps saying it's a lifestyle and 'normal' people (i.e. those who are a healthy weight and not dieting/following a lifestyle plan) put a couple of pounds on around their birthdays and Christmas so0 -
Great plan Maman
You'll be back at target in no time! Its all those little extra syns here and there just add up but you've caught it well in time to stop and get it off ! :T0 -
I have been totally out of control over the last couple of days. That's all I have to say on the matter.
maman, I am so impressed by you. Even although your gain is quite little (and rare) you have already planned to sort it out - and I know you wil succeed.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Definitely a good plan Maman. I had STS again - it's really annoying because I stuck to less than 15 syns a day apart from Saturday when I had 17.5! Really gutted not to have lost. Just got to carry on plodding!
Shalait's another STS for the chart; I'm really getting fed up with all these STS week after week. I only need to lose a lb to get back into target range. Would love to be nearer bottom end by Christmas but if I carry on like this don't think it's going to happen.
Today's plan:
B - grapes after WI
L - jacket potato; 1tsp lighter butter 1.5; 30g cheddar 6 syns; salad
D - no idea at the moment as we'll be driving to DD2s but will probably end up with a take away so hopefull we'll be able to find a kebab shop and I'll have chicken & salad but no pitta
HEA - milk
HEB - not sure but maybe a couple of Alpen Lights
Syns - butter 1.5; cheese 6

Thank you whiz & other lovelies.
Bloody CP is a blooming pain sometimes.
Anyway.
Could be worse.
I feel for you Beanie, OH has CP too as I've mentioned before and he is really struggling these past couple of weeks - especially with the cold
so I shouldn't mid week weight - I know this and I always regret it but then pre group weigh this morning showed a possible marginal loss so that's placated me.
I have had shakes for morning yesterday and today, and will again tomorrow, and I must say they are working for me in that I'm not skipping a meal or rushing one or grabbing something convenient/pastries etc. been using 250ml almond milk and then just having two other hot drinks with milk (max) each of which uses 50ml or less of semi skimmed so I think it's ok to call that within my HeA.
weigh in tonight. not expecting great things but little movement and often all adds up
not really used my journal this week *slaps wrist* but will use it from tomorrow. I'm going to set alerts in my phone I think for when I usually eat (I try and keep meal times pretty standardised where possible)************************************

Hi everyone - I was disorganised today and needed a last minute lunch so I bought this sushi box (it seemed the best of a bad bunch, and the least creamy) but I fear it may have been a mistake... My membership has lapsed so I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to look it up please? (Or perhaps I don't want to know!) :eek:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

7 syns for that one. I hope you enjoyed it.:) The sushi fish selection (2.5 for medium and 4.5 for large box) looks like a lower syn option if you are in Tesco another time.
It'll get done lantanna. It'll soon be the weekend.:)0 -
Gah! Thanks Maman. I thought it looked like a good choice as it was full of veg, but it must have had some sort of dressing on
Hopefully I'll just squeak in under Syns today - it'll have to be the hot ribena tonight rather than hot choc
Tea tonight is pork medallions (no fat) with Aunt Bessie's Carrot and Swede mash (1 Syn), broccoli, fine beans, and I think I'm going to have some instant gravy (2) because I'm bliddy FREEZING.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
