Thanks Lois big sigh of relief x
LL said: Wizkid and wanderr - the Oats so Simple that are a HEB are original and multigrain, so with any luck you've been eating the right ones.
This isn't right, I've just checked again the only original which is HEB is the Big Bowl original not the 27g original. The Multigrain one is also HEB. Wish I knew how to paste from the website but I don't!
Having a Green day today:
B - porridge made with water; Mullerlight; frozen mixed fruit
L - LO Louisana Red Bean rice (from freezer)
D - egg, chips, beans & mushrooms
HEA1 & 2 - milk (probably won't use all of it)
HEB1 - porridge
HEB2 - toast this evening
Syns - Laughing Cow cheese triangle on the toast 1 syn. Not sure what else yet

Speak to them yourself Tweets and be very clear what you are available for and not . They are very quick to persuade their clients "you'll need this doing, but your daughter will do that won't she" and you find yourself in a situation where no one else is available to do it because your Mum said you would and you end up doing it anyway .......and once you've done it they take the attitude you CAN do it so extra help isn't needed. Funding is so tight the system stinks and be prepared for them to be very surprised that you won't do it all and to try and guilt you. I worked , studied and was a single Mum to an autistic child and they expected me to be my Mums sole and full time carer upon release after a brain aneurism instead of sending her to rehab to learn to walk and manage basic tasks again first. I had to be very firm (and even then it was clear that despite it was what my Mum wanted (rehab) they still tried to get me to give in by trying to make me feel guilty)
Another badly motivated week this week

STS for me this week shala. It's a long hard struggle at the moment!!Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0

Another STSer here but after a sneaky peek at the scales earlier this week that showed 2lbs up really I'm quite relieved!
Hope everyone is plodding on - it always seems harder when the days are short, cold and wet. I can cope with any two of the above but all three at once put me in a foul mood...0 -
Hang in there everyone!0

So Joe I can have a big bowl HE B but not a small 27g of the same thing. It doesn't make sense does it ???:D0 -

Hope you've all had a good week. Last week I had a gain of 1lb, but this week had lost 0.5lb, am hoping for a 2lb loss next weigh in.
Has anyone read Joe Wicks' books, Lean in 15? Are they any good?
Speak soon. x
I have the first one, its just ok. I wouldn't really recommend it nothing ground breaking in it and the recipes are a little ordinary!0 -
:T that's a great loss considering you were off plan on your journey lois. Just shows that a lot of your gain was probably water retention.Looking online the only Oats so simple that are HEBs are:
34g of fruit muesli
27g of multigrain
32g of multigrain with honey
39g big bowl of original
All the rest have syns, varying from 4.5 and 10.5 depending on the flavour and size of pack.:)
It doesn't seem logical that a 27g sachet of Oats so simple isn't a HEB but the 39g big bowl is but I remember being told that it was important to have all a HEX portion every day. I used to have a milky coffee at night if I hadn't finished all my milk. I suppose it's the amount SW have worked out is good for your health so 27g wouldn't be enough fibre or something like that.
BUT we know it's acceptable to split HEXs so (although the maths is a bit fiddly) something like a 27g sachet of Oats and 1 Ryvita would make up a HEB.
shala, I got to target in August 2011 so just over the 5 years.:)
DH and I won't be at home at the same time this evening so we're having our evening meal early today. Then I'll snack on something SW friendly later if needed as not a syn is going to pass my lips today to make up for the weekend. I'm hoping for 3 good days and then go to WI on Thursday.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, bacon, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L/D: smoked haddock, SW chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff (broccoli, mange tout, peas)
Snacks: ham, cornichons, red slaw, pickled cabbage, cottage cheese
Syns: NONE!0 -
STS FOR ME PLEASE SHALA
Ended up getting my tooth out on Friday, got to work hard to get a loss this week.
Thinking of you Tweets and give Poppy a hug from me.0 -

Yes that's right. I saw something on TV recently that showed that "proper" oats keep you fuller for longer than the "instant" ones. I think that's probably the reason why.
My lunch wasn't very nice so I ended up only eating a little bit of it and then had a couple of slices toast with the Laughing Cow. May have another slice later (using crustless so can have 3 slices!)
