Can only see Smirnoff lime & cola vodka 6.4% - 250ml can. If it's that one it's 9.5 syns.

Thanks for that - it's the only one I could see as well.

The only one I could find that was vaguely similar Was the vodka Apple @ 4.5 syns but wondered if people had a better idea than that.

Well done on your loss.. you have had quite a bit of veg but not all of it is classed as speed so you may be missing the third of your plate target.

I've highlighted the ones that are speed, hope you don't mind me pointing it out. It's still fine to eat bananas, mango, peas and corn but they aren't classed as part of your 1/3rd speed.

Maman, can usually explain this better than I can.. :rotfl: hope it makes a bit of sense.

So the soup is pretty much all speed food, with lentils P food.

If only the carrots & green beans are speed aren't the peas & maybe corn P foods?

I must read up more on SP.

I'm greatful for any help, thank you.

After a 3 day weekend, I'm (1) dreading work this morning and (2) dreading weighing in. It all started to go pear shaped when I stayed on late at work on Friday and suggested to my other half that we get fish and chips for tea.

Interesting comments about the benefits of being on the social team. Social team members at our group get the magazine but to my knowledge our consultant pays for these, it's not something sw offer as a perk for people who help out. I agree that if our consultant had to offer free weigh ins for social team members then it wouldn't be cost effective for her. I suppose i can see the argument that (the inventive) (for want of a better description) of paying to weigh does have its benefits.

Morning everyone! Don't know how I ended up getting joint SOTW but hey, I'll take it! Congrats to EmmyLou too.

All this cold weather makes my asthma flare up so I ended up cutting the cardio portion of my workout short last night and just focused on the pilates part. Managed my 2 litres of water at work yesterday too (benefits of sitting closer to the water cooler!)

    On to today -

    B - Porridge (HEB & 3 syns), raspberries, blueberries
L - LO Pasta Bake (HEA and full of speed), pear
D - Salmon, broccoli, roasted butternut squash
    S - 2 clementines, popcorn (2.5 syns)

Hope everyone has a good day!

  • Morning all! Well done Emmylou and Ruby on SOTW!!

Stuck to plan yesterday - my lunchtime pasta was quite grim but there was plenty of speed in it, and I had a free cuppa soup thing (what are they called?!) before yoga and a SW frozen paella after. Brazil nuts were my HEB. Didn't get my 1/3 speed I know but thinking about it I only had 1 syn of sugar in coffee. That's what comes of being busy all day!

It was my first yoga for six weeks and OMG I felt amazing afterwards. Bit achey this morning but in a good way rather than achey in a bad way like I usually am!

Today I need to paint the kitchen (still on with that...) and I've started teaching a Spanish class to adults on a Tues evening so I have that to plan and attend too. Kitchen still in total disarray so I plan on a free soup from the freezer and a speedy something-else from the freezer, I think I have some kind of stew I could have with carrot and swede mash...

I really must get to the shops but I can't face it while the kitchen is still upside down

I "think" weight watchers do free weigh ins for the social team.

To be honest the groups couldn't run without this free labour, I think a £2 mag once a month isn't much recompense for 4 sessions of helping - I think SW could offer free weighins for at least the 2 who do the pay & the weigh. If SW offered it for free it wouldn't cost the consultant much as she would only loose her bit of profit rather than it costing her £5.
