TBH beanie the more I think about it the more I think I must have got it wrong - perhaps it's one free week or something. There is no way our consultant could afford to let six or seven people attend for free every week! I'd be happy with a free mag or similar, staying to group really helps me focus and I enjoy interacting with the class members.0

First weigh in tonight & 4lb off :-)
Set a target of 3lb for next week & that will be my first sticker :-)
I made a lovely soup last night for lunches this week. First I boiled some red lentils with chicken stock cubes, dried mixed herbs. Then I added in roughly chopped red onion, then cubed butternut squash.
I let it come back to boil, then I simmered it for a while.
Then I turned heat off & left on stove overnight.
I added some lazy garlic & lazy chilli in the morning & blitzed with a blender stick.
It's lovely. I had some ready chopped mango & a couple of (small) yogurts for lunch.
I had weetabix, banana & skimmed milk for breakfast.
I'm having jacket pot, pork chop, peas, corn, carrots & green beans for dinner.
Is that enough veg for one day!!!0 -

Hi all - access to the Internet was decidedly patchy on the ferry so I've got some catching up to do. Our crossing was really smooth and I made good SW choices for meals on board but then had chocolate and too much wine.to keep out the cold (except for lois of course
Believe it or not, we have driven through snow and hail today. We're now in Albacete for an overnight stay and it's as cold as it was in Devon before we left. I'm hoping tomorrow is going to be warmer.
I'm expecting a gain when I get on the scales on Wednesday, but I'll be back on track from then.
Back soon!

HI all, you're doing so well!
Well, since I'm not doing the challenge officially this time, I've managed to lose 1.6lbs - that's 2 weeks in a row I've lost and I can't remember when last I managed that! Typical! So, that's 2.6/8, so on track, woohoo.
Forecast is for nasty weather tomorrow, so I'll want to eat all sorts of things I shouldn't, so it's just as well I haven't bought any! Pity there is still a stash of 'not-so-bad-but-still-dangerous-stuff', lol.
Take care everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Sorry I missed your target for the challenge Betty, I've added you on.. you haven't got much to go after that stomping loss
Enjoy your time with your mum Beanie :wave:First weigh in tonight & 4lb off :-)

Well done on your loss.. you have had quite a bit of veg but not all of it is classed as speed so you may be missing the third of your plate target.
I've highlighted the ones that are speed, hope you don't mind me pointing it out. It's still fine to eat bananas, mango, peas and corn but they aren't classed as part of your 1/3rd speed.
Maman, can usually explain this better than I can.. :rotfl: hope it makes a bit of sense.
Right the chart..
Joint SOTW* is.... :T:j:TEMMYLOU and RUBY_ESKIMO:T:j:T with a loss each of 1.0lbs!!
Congratulations!
