Have a good journey lois. If you're going on Brittany Ferries I hope you have the buffet. Plenty of salmon, prawns, ham and salads and fruit!

My menu is a bit uncertain for today but will definitely be on plan. Something like this:
    B: HEB porage, HEA milk
L: veggie omelette with pickles or maybe JP
D: roast (not decided which meat yet need to buy something), roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, red cabbage, swede & carrot mash
Syns: squirt of syrup, gravy, wine syns:)
  • Choco - I've got that obese postmortem thing recorded, as well as that new Davina prog "This Time Next Year" - hoping they'll both give me a big kick up the bum!

What was the post mortem programme called please?

I caught the end of the Davina McCall programme but didn't know what it was about. I take it was a person who had lost loads of weight?

Last night we watched "The Conjuring 2" with all the fireworks going off, it was really loud. Very good film, would recommend it.

I didn't stay behind at group in the end - the fill in consultant had already sorted the lady who does the pay desk to do the takings for the shop as well, even though our usual consultant messaged me and asked me to cover the shop. Not to mention the scales said I had gained 1lb, but will wait until next week for a true result as the last time this consultant filled in I had a gain and I suspect it's the different scales (although I would imagine the consultants would say otherwise).

Didn't buy any cereal bars as the mint ones are not out yet and I'm waiting for these!

Got pork chops for dinner today - looking forward to that.

Have a good day everyone. x

    Well done tweets. That's a good loss.:T

Just finished listening to my team. Typical!!! We beat Inter Milan on Thursday and today we lose to Hull.:(

I bought pork in the end and I'm doing a JO recipe so a bit of tweaking to menu. Basically roast pork with masses of veg. I didn't have any lunch just been carving bits off the pork (but not the crackling....yet;)). I'll eat an apple to keep me going until dinner.
  • Good evening all!

Had the busiest night shift ever last night. So apparently nobody can go out and behave! Never mind!

Food today (there's not gonna be much of it!)

When I woke up I had 40g of honey nut shredded wheat.
Dinner will be a roast cooked by a friend. No idea what it will consist of.. She's also on sw so I know the roasties will be sw friendly! Syns for gravy.

Snacks - Apple, candy cane (2 and a half), possibly some mini smarties. See how I feel when I get home xx

    Evening all...

I didn't see that Davina thing, must look it up :D I think the autopsy programme would have been much more helpful/educational if they'd have compared the organs to a "normal" healthy person's. It's no good saying well this liver looks really enlarged, as a lay person we don't know the size of a normal liver - there was no context to it. It's definitely made me think about the damage I may be doing to my body though :(

Some great losses here today :T:T:T well done all! Betty, I don't have a target down for this challenge for you, did I miss it?

    Safe journey back Lois..

£200 Tete  jeez, 20lbs is a big target to lose in 6 weeks and very dangerous of a gym to be offering this when it may encourage people to starve themselves/over-exercise just so they win their money back! Glad you decided against it.

Thanks maman, I do try and plan but some weeks I just find it too hard..

And because of lack of planning we ended up with a takeaway last night :( I worked it out as 32 syns (plus 12 already eaten through the day) so not as bad as it could have been I guess but pretty off plan :o

Line drawn, new menu for today and lots of speed
    B - yogurt (0.5)
L - ham salad sandwich with red slaw and beetroot, crisps (4)
T - leftover Cajun chicken stew with either carrot/swede gnocchi or BNS fusilli, cheese (hea)
    S - satsumas,

Someone on a facebook group just posted a picture of the SW sausage rolls out of the new festive book. They look lovely - sausage meat and apple wrapped in filo. May have to give those a try for xmas buffet  can't wait to get my copy now!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.
