Those sausages from Asda , are they dry or are they really nice and tasty?
I am funny about sausages in case they have fat or gristle.
Do let me know if they're nice. I do know that the Richmond Irish are ok but, as you say Maman, saving Syns is very important.

I like them, just keep an eye on them in the oven as too long and they aren't as great.

funny old weekend at the caravan but mostly on plan so that's not so bad. there was a pizza but got good plans the rest of the week (and no money for syns hahah)

    today:
breakfast: porridge (heb oats and 1/2 hea milk) with 2 syns chocolate spread and a dash of peppermint flavouring. tea with milk from hea
lunch: will be half a chicken and mushroom dolmio pack (2.5 syn - had the other half yesterday) with carrots, tomatoes, pickled onions and beetroot added
tea: not 100% sure yet. either cottage pie (free) with a dash of gravy (2syns) or a beef and ale stew in the slow cooker (3 syns or there abouts) if I get chance after gym to put it in!
    snacks: mango, Satsuma, melon

tired of being skint :/ bah. at least having bought a countdown should make Christmas present buying a little easier. really need to get on top of my finances. seem to keep finding bits that need replacing/buying and never getting better bah. time to slap a smile on and get littlie out so we can do the errands then get to gymnastics.

here's to a good loss this week I hope!

    Hello lovelies.

Funeral all done and dusted and I'm back on plan for Christmas today, line drawn and I will WI tomorrow and assess the damage.

B - Bacon sandwich (HEXB) and an apple

D - Homemade butternut squash soup, melon and pineapple chunks

    T - Cottage pie

BM - The usual hustle and bustle of the day

HEXA - Cheese on cottage pie

Syns - Top Bloke puts a few gravy granules in his cottage pie, so those, plus a hot chocolate later.

Am I right in thinking there are 10 syns in a pint of Sainsburys orange top fat free milk? I've bought one for work through the week as our offices are freezing at the moment and it'll be easier just to syn this than try and work out HEXAs.

Top Girl - Is that the 1% milk? If it is then I think a pint works out just over 10.5 syns (2 syns per 100ml and there are 568ml to a pint). I think you'd probably be better measuring 500ml rather than a pint and then it it would be 10 syns.

    Hi all,

Some fantastic losses this week..maybe this cold weather helps?

    -2.75 lbsfor me please Shala

All this dogwalking and training has really upped the body magic...
  • Fab losses well done romy and tweets :T:T

Those asda sausages were really really nice, I wasn't expecting much from them at all. Really chunky and meaty, definitely buying them again! No gristle either wiz :)

I'm upping my water intake today as I feel all sluggish and a bit bloaty despite behaving all week. I'm hopeless with water I know for a fact I don't drink anywhere near enough - have to use diluted juice though and use a filter jug as our tap water is minging

    Today's food:

Brekkie - apple & cinnamon porridge with honey (1), banana and 2 cuppas (2 syns for my 2nd as the porridge used tons of milk)

Snack - aldi FF lemon yoghurt and strawberries

Not sure on lunch yet, raiding my cupboards in a bit to find something ..

Tea - pasta with LL meatballs, using a schwartz packet (3 syns for my half), will probably have that with salad

Hopefully at least 2 hydratem8 bottles full of juice

The rain has finally stopped hurray!

Hope you all have a good day

Wow! So many losses since I last posted. :T to romy, rubyE, rubyS and orlao.

Good to see you back posting topgirl:).

If I were you lush I'd have the cottage pie tonight and cook the stew. I think stew always tastes better the next day and it'll be easy for you when you get back from work. I've got it on the menu for later in the week. We need something like that to keep out the cold (except for lois of course :p).

This morning I've portioned up the lentil and veg soup and sliced the gammon joint for the freezer. I had some soup last night (couldn't resist) and have some for today's lunch too. It's an EESP soup (lentil, carrot, onion and leek with some gammon scraps) and if I'm hungry I'll have an apple or a pear as well.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, ham, 2 fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms
L: lentil and veg soup, apple
D: savoury mince, new potatoes, cabbage and carrots
    Syns: none planned

My butternut squash soup was rubbish :( Managed to force half of it down then hit home bargains on my dinner for some (free) savoury rice. My fruit chunks should cover me for speed.

Thank you! I've bought a wee bottle to keep at work so I might just measure off 70mls and pour that away :)

    Well done RommyLou.

Interesting Betty B as that is against SW's own policy unless it has changed very recently. The argument was that is you diden't pay to weigh there was no incentive to loose weight.
