oops I forgot to post my results, so excited with Halloween!

    2.5 lb off

so the next 1.5 off will take me to 11 stone or under which I haven't been for years!

However BMI checker suggests I still have 3 stone to lose to be in the middle of healthy range.

Hugs all round everyone (skinny ones) :rotfl:

B porridge 40g and Muller light yoghurt

L mushroom omelette, with 35g halloumi (HE) cheese, salad of beetroot, cucumber, peppers, spring onion

D SW spicy Pork patties and cabbage

Most people thought I was off with my back so only a couple knew the real reason and they were very kind. The test will come on Wednesday with trip to unit but main test will be Friday. Turns out young man had major meltdown the last Friday of term so glad I wasn't there :o.

Pleased to hear your first day went well. Was the meltdown anything to do with your absence? Hope tomorrow and Friday are better than you expect.

What a nice problem to have! :D. You could treat yourself to something really naughty and nice.

Today is going to be partly busy with things we need to do (take donations to the food bank, money to the bank, and a bit of food shopping) but we're also going to have lunch out and go to the cinema to see the Jack Reacher film, our last chance to do Meerkat Movies this year. Lunch could be at the Harvester which is the best SW option.

    Have a good day everyone.

Oh they've well and truly killed the sparkle Beanie. But I'm working on getting it back.

Another job interview this Friday, hopefully this one brings some joy.

Todays mission is lots of green tea and water. My living quarters are a proper mess :( this is what happens when I get really depressed. So need to start working on that this week.

Least I am coming out of the fog......................a bit lol

I agree with lois, there's every chance he had the meltdown because you weren't there. BUT you shouldn't be managing to contain him at the expense of your own health :naughty:. Unfortunately you probably weren't off long enough to have a sickness review/return to work interview and (although I understand why) you shouldn't be keeping the triggers from your employer. They need to know the effects that Wednesdays and Fridays are having on you. If they don't have a solution then probably his behaviour can't be managed in mainstream.

Have a good day lois. I know you're busy but sounds as if you're getting things done. Plenty of choices at the Harvester.

I've had a good SW breakfast (fry up with eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and HEB toast). Not sure if I'll be at home for lunch and something with sausages for dinner (probably mash as I have a cabbage to use up). Will report back later.
  • Top Girl - sorry for your loss, our thoughts are with you x

off to Iceland this morning to see if they stock that 5% mince, completely forgot the other day :o walked out with Ben and Jerrys instead :rotfl: need to get the bags of cooked chicken too as I find that handy for lunches.

I get the cooked sliced chicken too for lunches/snacking on :)

my get up and go has officially got up and gone :(
I could have cried in group last week when after all my efforts I lost another 0.5lb - I know it all adds up but I'm not one for small losses when I really go for it I'd like for it to be noticeable from other weeks!

The weekend went ok - had a pack of doritos and a cookie on Saturday and a slice of wedding cake. sunday had a Chinese takeaway but used my syns. yesterday was also a decent day

today I feel useless and like no matter what I eat it won't help so I've no appetite at all :(
before work: cup of tea with littlie, milk from hea
'breakfast': an alpen light bar (3 syn) brought in melon and grapes but can't be bothered with them. another cup of tea (milk from hea)
mid morning: cup of vanilla rooibos - no milk, no sweetener etc
lunch: I've bought in a free cupshotz plus an apple and two satsumas.
    mid afternoon: free aldi yogurt
tea: cheeseburger - sw burger from Iceland with wholemeal roll (will weigh to 60g to be heb) and lettuce, tomato, onions and mushroom (will cook the onion and mushrooms in the oven with the burgers) cheese single 2/3syn. will eat with more salad (cucumber, beetroot, pickled onions, pepper)

have also got a treatsize pack of buttons out of my tin (4syn) in case I really want a little chocolate hit and may have a 2 syn hot chocolate after tea.

    Total syns: 12
other drinks: water, maybe a third cup of tea, milk from hea

I would really like a 1lb loss this week minimum but feel like I'm fighting a losing battle.

    sorry for the downer post!

  • Good morning guys!

Weighed in this morning, very happy to report a STS! This week will be my week to get to target! I've batch cooked spaghetti bolognese and sw tomato and basil soup. Fridge is full of salad so nothing can stop me now! If it hadn't been my birthday last week I probably would've done it but we're all human and even sw goers need Chinese and cider on their birthday!

Hope everyone is doing ok! Hugs to those that need them xxx
  • Hi all - you are a chatty bunch!! MrGFB and I have been off for a ;long weekend (my birthday yesterday) and after being on SW since March I can say that we went buck mad over the weekend lol - we had breakfast out every day, ate out 4 times, went to the cinema (sahara nuts and popcorn) and loads of cake and wine...and enjoyed every single minute...back to porridge (literally today)

Sorry to hear your sad news TopGirl, welcome to all newbies and a special welcome back to Lantanna.

I'm going to gun for 8 lbs for the challenge

This would give me my 2 stone award which has been long in coming...need to get back to steady losing ways.
