    Hi all

Well the shop is now closed, that's it for this year. Half term was a bit busier than the rest of October but the rally at the weekend didn't do anything for our business - we did fish and chips on Friday and Saturday night but only did 3 portions over both nights so it was a waste of time turning the fryers on.

For the benefit of the new people (hello ) I run a shop/cafe/takeaway on a caravan site from April to October and spend the winter in Spain.

Great to see you Lantanna, I have to say I preferred going to class in the morning as evening weigh ins do hang over you all day.

Romylou, don't be mortified about your weight, my starting weight was more than that. You've made the decision to do something about it, that's the main thing.

I've decided to make today an SP day - that wasn't the intention originally but I had ham, aubergine, mushrooms, tomatoes and egg for lunch and I'm planning to do HB fish pie with speed veg later which I find filling enough without any potatoes. It's a fish pie with a breadcrumb and cheese topping instead of mash and I usually syn them but I'll count them as Heb2. Heb1 was toast for breakfast.

I'm trying not to do a proper shop this week as we have things that need using up but I'm nearly out of fruit and haven't got any yogurt so will have to stock up on those.

Well I didn't do very well in this challenge but I'm determined to crack the new one. I'm going to start swimming regularly again, and I'll be doing more walking when I get to Spain so hopefully that will help.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

    LL :)

Thanks for the warm welcome back! It is good to be back, def needed the break though. Day one nearly over and ok so far, dragging myself back to the gym tonight as well. Think work burn out killed off the girl who spent lots of time in the gym.

Hoping to refind my sparkle and also a new job in the near future!

wanderr - you don't seem to have had any syns today, assuming the bread is wholmeal and being used as HEB, so have that Jammy dodger. You need to use your syns.

Blueberries are only a free food and not a Speed food. Better to have other berries or satsumas, apple, pear etc.

Good result flutterby and well done on your stone award. :T
Enjoy your blueberries wanderr. They're free and healthy but unfortunately not Speed food. :(
I'm another that prefers a morning WI. It doesn't seem right to eat all day and then get on the scales. I know it doesn't make any difference if you do the same thing every week though.
I've put a skirt on this evening that I've not worn since last winter and it feels very snug. Looking at the label it is a 10 but it does make me realise I need to be careful. :)
ETA:snap! on the Speed denise !:rotfl:

Good to see you too gien. Does this mean you're back in the UK?:)

    .

Hi there Maman, yes, we have moved and have been back here for about 4 months now. I am enjoying being 'home'.

I've woken up this morning with a really jippy stomach, cramping and feeling a bit sick.. We were away in Spain for half term so I think i have picked up something whilst there - bleurgh.

today I have only eaten some baked beans on toast and drunk tea but hopefully it'll pass quickly. I always get ill on holiday, next year it's cornwall for us instead.
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Survived work :D
Most people thought I was off with my back so only a couple knew the real reason and they were very kind. The test will come on Wednesday with trip to unit but main test will be Friday. Turns out young man had major meltdown the last Friday of term so glad I wasn't there :o.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
