Morning all :santa2:::wave::
reporting 1 lb loss :j
very happy with that, I have definitely reigned it in this year and been so much more careful with food choices, still have another 1 stone to go (though I might stop at 1/2 stone depending how it suits me).
looking forward to January to get back on track, new year new me
skinny hugs to all, collectively I think we have done really well

That's great getting a loss this week chocomonsta. Well done!:T
Probably the last of Christmas food today but don't expect to get fully on track until next week. I'm resigned to taking the hit this week and maybe taking until mid January to be back in range as I'll have the original half pound plus holiday gains.
Today I've had a SW fry up and mostly cold meats, chips and pickles planned for the rest of the day but I'm still relaxing in the evening with wine and chocolate syns.;)0 -
Hello, I am not posting my menus until New Years Day when I know I won't be having things I shouldn't,then,2017 will be perfect and I will soon get to the weight I really want to be.:D
I hope everyone has enjoyed Christmas, presents food and all.Soon you will all get back to normal and lose that extra weight fingers crossed :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Have been out clothes & shoe shopping today as need new stuff for our holiday in a couple of weeks time to Jamaica:j. Have been trying to find some shoes I like that actually fit me for a couple of months and have finally found a pair - at last I can say goodbye to boots!
Today has been part on plan part off!
Breakfast and dinner on plan with lunch off plan as we were out and about and didn't feel like looking for a restaurant so ended up with sausage in roll. Haven't checked syns but no doubt all of today's and more! but not having wine syns tonight as have a really sore & chesty cough.
Breakfast was porridge with mixed frozen fruit and dinner was turkey curry & rice.
So beginning to get back to eating properly. Hoping I feel a bit better tomorrow and will stay on plan completely with a bit of luck with minimal syns.
Will be weighing on Thursday morning and hoping for not too big a gain and want it gone before my holiday so I don't have to use up my holidays!

Some amazing results being reported - I'm absolutely delighted for all of you.
I'm still off the plan(et) and I know I will have gained - I have stayed away from the scales too - but I can live with that for now. I'm planning to get back on track from next Monday (after Hogmanay, when I will enjoy guilt free, syn laden steak pie and trifle), so I'll be back nipping all your ears on a more regular basis! And hopefully the hm Christmas cake will be gone (I'm doing my best!).Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hello all - just checking back in to see when the New year challenge starts...my family situation which threw me off kilter seems to have resolved itself...(mostly by most people ghosting away from stuff instead of addressing stuff but that how some families deal with things - not the way I'D do it but what the hey)
I've been up and down the scales but have ended up with a gain of 2.5 lbs in total - I've been going fortnightly to class so as to keep somewhat accountable.
Definitely no gain for me at Christmas as I spent two days in bed (Christmas day and Boxing day) very sick with that vomiting and diarrhoea bug that's going around and still not feeling the best...didn't eat at all from the 23rd to the 26th! So silver linings and all that maybe I'll see a loss lol.
Looking forward to seeing the end of 2016....for me and my family a major stressful year...my mum had two major surgeries, my 35 year old brother was diagnosed with MS, I fell and broke my elbow - and that's besides all our beloved celebrities dying off (DH still not over Bowie)
I've started walking with DH every day again - he walks our dog every day after work and it's keeping him very trim...I can look back on my weightloss and can see it stalled when I broke my elbow and that's when I stopped going those walks with him. Also not really doing the SW plan entirely to the plan (ie too many wine syns and not doing the HE's properly) So I'm going to back to basics and follow the plan properly.
So hope you all had a lovely Christmas... looking forward to a healthy and happy new year.0 -
Hi all
Bit concerned at the lack of a chart this week, hope Shala is ok and has survived Christmas.
Back on plan yesterday but didn't make it through the day without any wine Syns as planned, still within Syns for the day so no problem, but feeling the need to give my liver a rest.
I've contracted a lurgy of some kind, probably all that kissing on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day  Not feeling too bad but had a restless night with an annoying tickly cough. DH is still getting over a cold and I hoped I'd escaped it but one of our friends was suffering with it a few days ago so it's still about.
I'm envious of your holiday to Jamaica Denise, I went to Barbados about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it, I really want to return to the Caribbean and Jamaica is top of my list. Have a fantastic time.
Welcome back gfb, 2.5lb isn't a bad gain for this time of year, although you obviously didn't have the calorie overload you'd normally have, being ill. What terrible timing, hope you're recovered now.
It's cloudy here today and there's rain forecast so I'm not sure what we're going to do - might go for a wander round the shopping centre as its indoors.
Have a good day everyone.
