I agree, I was more concerned for you than for the chart. Hope you're feeling better.

Thanks for the replies. Think I'll definitely join a local meeting as like you say getting the books will be good and also being able to make sure I'm following it in the best way until I have a good stock of recipes that work for me.

    Cheers H x

The magazines are good for recipes H, as is Google and the first posts of the thread but most recipes can be adapted (Frylight is your friend). Not sure how many you cook for but sometimes it's better not to make too many changes of menu if feeding family/partner etc. then it doesn't feel like a diet.

I was planning a quiet dinner for 2 tomorrow evening but now family are coming (could be 7) so need to make some changes. Also we have football tomorrow afternoon so whatever I do will have to be turned around quickly when we get back. I've decided on lasagne with salads (others can eat garlic bread) and DIY Eton Mess. That way the only syns I'll have (except wine;)) will be in cheese sauce so no worse than the dauphinoise I'd planned. I've got Bolognese sauce in the SC at the moment and I'll put the lasagnes together tonight.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, bacon, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO sausages (2 syns), fried veg and pickles
D: HM pork burgers, patatas bravas, mushrooms, green stuff (still to shop for)
    Syns: weekend wine:T

    Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a slim 2017?

A special thanks to Shala for looking after the thread/challenges/chart and for being so positive for us all.

Although not a prolific poster, I'm here sat on the target sofa! There's room on here for a lot more, so I hope you all reach your aims and goals in 2017.

    Stay safe and warm.

    Arkers x
