I visit the competitions board for a couple of hours most day, I don't actively use any other boards regularly (although I have in the past, and I've saved LOADS, thank you Martin) so I'd be happy to help wherever it's needed, as long as it's not too specialised.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Please note that Ambassadors are not moderators. Any posts you spot in breach of the Forum Rules should be reported via the report button, or by emailing forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com All views are my own and not the official line of Money Saving Expert.0

I would be interested in becoming a Board Guide.
The Boards I am particularly interested in are:
1) Mortgages & Endowments
2) House Buying, Renting & Selling
3) Credit File & Ratings
Many thanks:jFinally going to be a homeowner:T0 -
Happy to volunteer, visit many threads and would like to help. Retired now so visit at least three times a day if that's what you're looking for.
Regards
Thank you!!

I would happily be a spambuster, deleting spam from any board (especially as I am likely to be on a lot between xmas and New Year and usually end up reporting spam anyway so I may as well delete).
Is it possible to just be a spambuster rather than full board guide at the moment as I can't do full boardguiding right now?
Thank you so much!
You can spam bust absolutely any time whitewing- just keep clicking the spam button on all the spam posts you see. The more you do, the quicker they disappearCould you do with a Money Makeover?

Would that it were ... I know people who have been victims of what you describe. I can only assume the forum team are too busy to be able to properly investigate reports, so they take the easy way out and accept the reports at face value based on the number.
Other than a general sense of well-being, of giving to the community, what benefit is there to being a board guide?
Parking, Consumer Rights, Praise/Vents and Motoring are where I mostly frequent pretty much daily.
Hi!
We act on reports we receive, looking at the posts MSE'rs give us links to in their report as evidence. We don't usually tell forum users what action we take so we may well have taken the action you'd like us to, but you wouldn't know (if that makes sense).Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Evidence of what?
People seem to have been PPRd for simply stating facts.
Is that against the rules of this forum?0 -
