I'd be happy to have a go at being a board guide.
My preferences would be:
- deaths, funerals and probate
- house renting and selling
- budgeting and bank accounts
- praise, warnings and venting
- ebay, gumtree and so on
- motoring.
I've listed more than 3 as I didn't know which boards you need help on and I regularly visit these.0 -
Since ditching Facebook 6 months ago I find myself with significantly more time on my hands!
Happy to help out wherever, although I am almost exclusively active on the Essential Money section.

6. Debt-Free Wannabe
7. Mortgage-Free Wannabe
Happy to help and often online at unusual hours due to travelling extensively so should be pretty sharp with all those lovely furniture spams we all love so much.0 -

I would happily be a spambuster, deleting spam from any board (especially as I am likely to be on a lot between xmas and New Year and usually end up reporting spam anyway so I may as well delete).
Is it possible to just be a spambuster rather than full board guide at the moment as I can't do full boardguiding right now?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Do the board guides have any additional influence with the official Forum Team / reporting team to support regular users who have or are being unfairly mass-reported by a clique?
If so, I'm happy to volunteer*. Else, I'm giving this a wide berth.

Would that it were ... I know people who have been victims of what you describe. I can only assume the forum team are too busy to be able to properly investigate reports, so they take the easy way out and accept the reports at face value based on the number.
Other than a general sense of well-being, of giving to the community, what benefit is there to being a board guide?
Parking, Consumer Rights, Praise/Vents and Motoring are where I mostly frequent pretty much daily.0
