Can't Change Avatar

It's because you're using the blue forum. In the old green format your avi is Betty Boop winking. I don't know if you have the option to change formats as your user is quite new. The new blue format always seems to show older versions of avis.

Do you remember when I had changed my Xmas avatar to another one, but the blue format was still showing the Xmas one for a while?

Well, on the blue format, it suddenly changed to my original, plain avatar! I hadn't done anything! (Even though I've had two further avatars on the green format since Christmas!)

I think there's a mischievous avatar pixie who goes around changing avatars for the fun of seeing us hoomins getting all wound up! :rotfl:

I don't see your new avatar Pyx. I cannot change the blue and white thing. I get no emails for PM's anymore. No mods are responding to these posts, and it's raining.:(

Sounds like you need to go into your settings. You can change your preferences for emails in there.

I'll just pop into mine and remind myself what skin you should change to for the green one............

Edit.......... Ok, go into your user CP and under the menu, select "edit options". Then scroll right down to Miscellaneous Options and where it says "Forum skin" and choose the following:
"New masthead, fixed width (.recommended)"

Unless they've removed that option, that should give you the green one.

I am back for another moan.
Why has this problem with avatars, not been sorted out?
I just could NOT get on with the old green one. But I did see a lot more information about posters. This surely should not be the case, as the blue and white is the default!
