Can't Change Avatar

I want a Christmas Tree, a small animated tree was uploaded to my avatar but I got an invalid message. Its been going on for ages.

"Try using postimage.org instead of photobucket.
I uploaded my already resized (80 x 80) avi to postimage, chose "do not resize". Uploaded, copied the direct link to clipboard and pasted it into the bit that says url from another site, deleting the original http//www."



That's what I did after other methods didn't work, and the above advice worked!

I have only ever uploaded from my computer in the past

went into this site
http://www.gifandgif.eu/
avarta needs to be size 100x100 or less and 14.9 kb size or less
click on thumbnail you want in other tab
copy adress location
go to box ..
custom avatar..in option 1 box , remove ..http://www.
and paste your new copy address location.
click save


you can also do the same as inserting a picture like so in a reply..took me ages too work out..
just tried not open a new tab and it worked i think ..

right click on avarta you want and copy addres location.
avarta needs to be size 100x100 or less and 14.9 kb size or less


go to box ..
custom avatar..in option 1 box , remove ..http://www.
and paste your new copy address location.
click save

Thanks everyone. I was using IE but changed to Google Chrome which gave me the right click option to copy address.
