Yes I got a days out vouchers instead of a pamper voucher.
Husband got a gym pass - instead of clay pigeon shoot/golf - problem is the gym is too far away.
What address did anyone write to - really annoyed - this appears to be a total con.0 -

They are obviously having problems. clicking on the "help me find a treat "gives
There has been an error (400 - Bad Request)
I got a gym pass even though asked for family portrait or a day out. Can't understand why everyone seems to get a day out and I get a gym pass......... As a longterm gym member of local gym, why would I drive over 20 miles return to visit another one?
TLC certainly doesn't stand for "Tender loving care" does it!!!

I got the day out I wanted and have booked a Chelsea Football Club Stadium Tour
Will be nice to see behind the scenes rather than the usual view.0 -
You're all complaining because you had something free except it wasn't the free thing you wanted?
So it's a con? I would think that you have to actually 'lose' something for it to be a con. Gaining something that you didn't have in the first place doesn't seem like a con to me. The 'terms and conditions' of the promotion (on the back of the brochure; number 4) state quite clearly that the promoter 'TLC Marketing' reserves the right to offer an alternative if your chosen treat is not available.
I can understand a little disappointment but the response of many people has been petty. Oh well, at least my experience of this promotion has given me a new insight into the greed, pettiness, and petulance existing within so many people. "I want . . . I want . . . I want!" The refrain of the spoilt child!
And as for the 'days out' : don't be so closed-minded! Try something new ; you may learn something you didn't know was worth knowing.

It's pretty clear that Nectar do not appear to be in control of their business.... they are offering something here that they can't deliver - so why bother with them. Anyway, it's only a promotion where the so called 'treat' is being given for free by the supplier of the treat in the hope of hooking you into some more spending - at no cost to Nectar.
They are out of control. They told me today that they still haven't cleared all the 'extra' points claims from as far back as July. But they didn't fell fit to tell anyone of this until they complain. They still owe me for a 'TRIPLE REWARD' booked thru their eStore on Eurostar.
So, if you are not happy with the deals:-
1. Stop using stores that offer Nectar points - go to Tesco instead
2. Then write to their biggest sponsor - Sainsbury's - and tell them why
3. And then write to: Loyalty Management UK Ltd, 80 Strand, London, WC2R ONN and tell them you are not happy0 -
Received my free treat leaflet this morning but not sure whether to bother or not. I could use some pampering but not interested in a Day Out (too many Tesco clubcard vouchers to use up first.:rotfl:)
I understand the sentiment that we shouldn't be complaining as something is free. If Nectar had just sent me a voucher for a gym pass or a day out or even a clay pigeon shoot, I would have probably thought - "that's nice" and put it in the bin or passed it on. If they had sent me a back massage/facial/head massage/manicure/etc voucher, I would have thought "Wow, fantastic" and they'd have got loads of brownie points.
However, they have given us a choice so if we don't get something vaguely matching our selection, then we are going to be upset and they are going to get a lot of hard feeling. They don't seem to be even offering something from the same category.
It might be free but as it is being billed as a treat and nobody seems to be getting thier idea of a treat, it sucks....
To apply or not to apply, that is the question!7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
Just been looking on the watchdog website to see if I could find out about TLC marketing but drawn a blank.
As I haven't applied yet, I don't feel in a position to contact them myself yet but if anyone feels so inclined, here is the BBC Watchdog contact us page7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0
