Didn't quite get my fourth wash out and dried but an air overnight should get it finished. Just tidied up after hm pizza for tea, girls are currently munching through popcorn -which they have made- whilst [STRIKE]suffering[/STRIKE]enjoying x-factor - I can't be bothered watching since reading Ben Elton's book in the summer.
Not much planned for tonight, a friend has lent me chocolat to watch on DVD so will wait untilthe girls are down and then open some wine.
Not sure if anyone else would be interested but I have found the following link quite interesting today, i received it from a friend and once you fill in the questions it lets you know what your house's carbon footprint is, it has certainly got me thinking about what I could be changing or cutting down on.

nice one! *does big manly 'go on my [strike]son[/strike] gerl!' and 'wey-hey-woot-woot!*
Now, kids are in bed, I have coffee, time to chill before I tackle tidying.
Oh, my crbon footprint is 10.07 tonnes per year... mostly my appliances, and I don't even have a tumble dryer or dish washer!0 -
Quite suprised that even running 2 cars our carbon foot print (according to that website) is well under national average and not much higher than the target level.
Right, boys bath time, they've been ok this evening so let them stay up a bit longer. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
2.24 tonnes of carbon P.A from the house
11.31 tonnes from appliances
0 tonnes for travel!
Average 13.55 tonnes per year! But I have 6 trees in my garden!! lol and recycle anything that stands still long enough!
Above national average.. but we do have twice as many people living in here than most houses! It is also probably higher as it never asked about other small appliances.. the breadmaker is on twice a day! the SC is on most days.. and my poor kettle is never off!
My target level is higher than national average!!
I can't replace the majority of the bulbs with low energy ones because they are screw in ones and I can't find any, and I have 8 in the front room and 3 in the hallway and 3 on the landing!!! I can't do less washing.. I can't get rid of the necessaries.. We are looking at getting the windows doubled glazed but it will be a 'one this week-one next week' thing. I MUST get those curtains done for the middle room though! I redid it with double glazing added and it made no difference at all to the 2.24!! and I can't have cavity wall insulation because I don't have cavity walls!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I near chocked on my grapes!
Grapes and coffee, what next?
Grapes make me giggle.
Plums make me laugh! :rotfl:
The dog, Odie, or oddity as I call him, is staring at himself on the glass door with the tail wagging, glad to see I'm not the only one who has lost it tonight.0
