my mind is boggling....i go away for a week and look what you've all got up to....
:D:D
well, am home, WM is on with first load, another to go plus the whites which are not v white at all - is it ok to put them in the sink with a drop of bleach? just a couple of cheapo vest tops but i'd like to get a bit more wear from them!
watching last week's holby after eating leftover takeaway curry i found in the freezer - hit the spot perfectlytired after the journey - 3 countries today (we were staying in spain but just over the border so flew out of portugal!) hopefully can make myself get an earlyish night, caught up on sleep on hol and don't want to lose it again. could feel my head contract with stress as i drove down the motorway towards home. deep breaths....

:rotfl: see I leave pigpen in charge and what happens :rotfl: thanks for cheering me up however!
I've spent the last 3 hours shredding paper by hand. I got through 6 boxes of paperwork and now those 9 boxes are 1 1/2! I've shredded, by hand as my shredder packed in part way through, one bin bag full of paper, there is another which didn't have names/addresses etc on which went direct for recycling aswell.
I had a small tearful moment as within the boxes were some photos, couple of a friend who passed away several years ago (he introduced me and my partner so always was to blame when we argued) My son seen it and said 'He was my uncle' as he was an honourary uncle, which upset me probably more as he remembered. Then there was ones of my Grandad, DPs Grandad and my Aunty who have all passed away. I've put them all into a file to deal with after we move along with the photos of the kids. It's shocking here as we don't have a single photo up and I want to change that when we move.
I found the V5It makes me laugh as the Jeep is a 4.0 but the engine size on the V5 should be 3900 well they added an extra zero on it so it's 39000, stick that in the carbon foot print thing and it'd have a dickyfit! 39 litre engne :rotfl: So anyway that's the paperwork sorted for it so I can get my new car on Monday
I've counted 8 papercuts, youchy! It was strange getting rid of some of the stuff, going through receipts of nursery items I bought for DS2 who is now 6 years old etc. There is still some to go through and I need to sort through what I have kept but I think I have done enough for tonight.
Right well I need to find DP some sheets as he's sleeping on the sofa tonight (so he can get up easier to go out and play with his cars!) sort him sandwiches for tomorrow etc aswell so I best go do that as I'm feeling VERY tired, I'll be shredding in my sleep :rotfl: Good night girls, and flyboy wherever you are hiding! One day I might be more organised...........

Good morning everyone, had a great night last night and a few drinks (don't usual drink) but i was tipsy, feel fine so far to day.
Make an apple pie yesterday and the flipping thing was gone in 5 minutes.
Bad news washing machine died on me, so have 2 school uniforms to do by hand today, can't afford a new machine yet so instead of me saying how many loads, it's gonna have to be how many items
. Stupid thing is just done, put a load in yesterday and it started then went to get stick's for fire and when i come in machine was finished (thought i was going mad), opened door and drum full of water. Sat and started cycle again and watched it, the drum didn't more and i could hear the water going in for 10 seconds and then it draining for 10 seconds and the nob of it going click and that was it funished.
Now have 6 loads in bathroom so it's gonna be a funny week.
At least the house is tidy.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Can you help I need the tasks for the weekend ? I must be mad but the results have been amazing!!
If I can get on top of this I wont have to kill my self to sort the house out if we have visitors! And wish that I had an industrial hoover that would suck everything up and return it when they had gone.
I dont want extra tasks every weekend really I dont.
Please help.
MoonflowerSPC £500 well will try very hard.

lol moonflower I think we might be twins - sounds exactly like me when we have "visitors" :rotfl:
I have spent most of the weekend tackling the root cause of the clutter - i.e. all the paperwork that makes its way to the bedroom has been filed/shredded/recycled. Also the outgrown kids clothes bagged if no good for any of mine and boxed if they might be ok for lo when she gets bigger!
My big mistake is that I start on one room and then see something that needs doing in another and before you know it I am trying to do 5 rooms at once
Pick a room, arm yourself with the tools of the trade and don't come out for a coffee until you have a full bin bag or can see a shelf/drawer/bit of carpet!
Good luck!
btw I know what you mean - hard to stop when you feel like you are finally getting somewhere!0 -
Hi Moonflower
Weekends are normally left free for family time or catch up with anything you want to. Normally we just say do the dailies and then anything else you want to do. However, if you've done as much as me this week there's loads to do:o BUT it all comes around again next week so you don't have to worry about it!

Morning all I am fine now and really learnt my lesson (again). Just premenstral now - have already screamed at the kids.
I have been encouraged by how much an item the same as mine has sold for on ebay so will defo be listing a few bits later, I will get better at this as the weeks go by.
Today for me is attempting to get the place tidy so that I can fly with ease next week. DS3 room is a must.
Yet again I hope for a week of not playing catch up. Who said I am ok Monday and Tuesday then it goes down hill? That happens to me every week.
Todays must:
List ebay stuff
Find child benefit phone no
Find Tesco CC bill
My tax return
DS2 homework
DS3 reading
Anybody looking for extra jobs - if you have a garden/shed whilst not do something outside whilst the weather is nice even wiping down your front door, sweeping the path, tidying the shed etc.
Vanilla sorry to hear about your WM - there are some threads on here about machines and I think an engineer posts on some so might be worth having a look. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
OMG I've just been catching up with the thread! lol Keep running through to tv room to tell OH the next edition to the pruning saga! :rotfl:
Well, the carrot cake that I made yesterday did take over an hour to cook in the end (not the 45 mins it stated on the recipe), and then I went out an did the food shopping, dropped my job application off at the school (bought 4 stamps just in case they didn't have a letterbox, and they cost £1.92  ), took some ferrero rocher (3 boxes) round to my Mum, as they are alot cheaper in Lidl, and she doesn't usually shop there, asked about my wages for the trial shift I did at Zizzi 3 weeks ago (I have to call up again today as the manager wasn't in yet and then was too busy in the evening when I called), came home, iced the cake, and made a pasta bake for dinner. My Mum asked where her slice of the carrot cake was yesterday when I went over, and I told her that I hadn't iced it yet, so may go round this avo to have tea and a piece of the cake (haven't tasted it yet, so hope it's ok - different recipe to the one I usually use).
Looks like it's going to rain here at the mo. There goes my idea of getting some washing done - looks like the towels that are in there at the mo will have to go in the TD. Must check that I have some smart trousers washed for the week's temping.
Time to have brekkie and wash my hair and get dressed I feel. OH promised yesterday to clear up in the hall so that the heating vents aren't covered up, just in case we need to put it on this week, so may gently [strike]nag[/strike] remind him about this promise.
Take care everyone, and hugs where they are needed.
