Lunch - baked potato and prawn mayo (I have put cheese on one bit because I couldn't decide if I wanted cheese or prawns) first time I have had chance to have lunch this week  DP out playing with one of his toy cars so I'm putting the kettle on, gosh it's cold out there and he'll no doubt moan for one when he comes in.
Bin bag almost full from wardrobe, did keep some nice things which still fit but made myself get rid of a dress I have only kept for nostalgia I think. I haven't fit into it for 8 years but was my fave dress, nearly cried when I closed the baggood luck sorting yours LJD1
Oh the estate agents saga continues, they have to write to the landlady to get her to accept us because she initially said no pets ( she obviously has them herself as there are cat clicks everywhere on the beds and sofas we're getting them to take out) and to agree to not needing a guarantor (I was going to tell them we have one but then thought if they will do it without even better) she's agreed to both over the phone but as this goes against her original requirements that she set out to the estate agents they need it in writing. So that's going out 1st class today and should be back Saturday/Monday then will be finally sorted & just need to go to the bank after that to get the money out for deposit, fees and advance rent. God what a pain this is!!!
I want to sort the freezer today, do a stock list and meal plan, my DP is very impressed that I've spent under £100 so far on groceries and has been a bit more supportive and not moaned 'well I don't fancy that' as often. If I can keep it under £100 for the rest of the month that'll pay for the van/removing costsOne day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon everyone.
Wow- I'm late posting today. Managed to clean the flat before my friend came over yesterday, but to be honest, she probably failed to notice the tidy areas over the cluttered ones - must get OH to sort this place out - the flat is not his garded shed or garage (loads of DIY stuff everywhere).
It was nice to see my friend yesterday, but lunch wasn't so good (thanks for asking tinselfairy)- went to a pub in Chichester and I ordered scampi and chips, and when I bit into the scampi it was gritty - I cut one up and could see that the black bit hadn't been removed, and felt too sick to eat the rest, and got my money back - ended up going to M&S cafe and getting a piece of cake and a cup of tea. We picked up OH from work on the way home, and also my friend's hubby and we all went back to ours and had a catch up. They didn't leave til 7pm, so by the time I'd made dinner and we'd eaten, and watched the Butterfly Effect on FilmFour (very good and hadn't seen it before), it was bedtime.
Took OH to the fracture clinic this morning, and they said that he hasn't fractured it after all, when the consultant looked at his x-ray, and he's had one of his crutches taken off him. He's decided not to go into work though this avo, and has been sat watching Sharpe. Had better head off and make us both some lunch as he hobbled in a minute ago, which I think was his way of asking for food (a bit like the cat does). lol
I'm thinking jacket potatoes may me nice, or I could wizz up a salad with the avocado I bought the other day. mmm
Off to dinner at M&Ds tonight so won't have to cook tonight.
Glad you got the assignment in lil_me and that you've had good news about the house.
Hugs to all who need them. Off to find some food.

Is it fixed or removable with a key to turn it? DS1 has had the later sort twice over the past year and is about to have a third one. It ached like crazy to begin with but he got used to it really quickly. He had to remove this to eat though so maybe different. Hope it gets easier soon xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Lil-me keeping everything crossed for you and definitely fill that form in for the council.
Right need to sort out some bit I brought down from the loft for DS3 to play with to keep him quiet when he gets home and then back into the loft whilst the mood takes me. Just a little bit of moving/sorting to do and then I know where everything is - actually have not seen the xmas decs yet. I do have the memory boxes up there all muddled which need a sort but that is a job for another day as it will involve a trip down that pretty old memory lane. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
