  • hello peeps
not done a great deal here today lots of dailies, got about 5 loads out on line and now the heavens have opened:mad: I am not going out in that rain to get wet washing in:mad:
Lil_me, sounds like you have a completly different council system to us,we fill forms in,get banded, given a application number, then the available houses/flats etc are put on boards in council offices/website or local paper every 2 weeks, then if you see something you want you phone in your number.last 3 bed that was round our way got 64 applications(they are put in next to the following weeks ads)doesn't matter where you are from in area, which areas you specify, how long you have been on list.you have to be high banded/emergancy to stand a cat in hells chance of getting a house.
unless your circumstances change dramatically you can't get rebanded
    Lead us not into temptation...

just tell us where it is and we'll find it....

Chatterbox!! I'd call you gobsh*te but that would be rude wouldn't it :rotfl:

Looks like we're having lots of chicken next week as there is enough for about 3-4 meals, got sirloin steaks, turkey, burgers, scampi, lamb mince and beef there aswell as some veggie stuff for me, so I won't be buying any more food for main meals next week!!! Just need to think of something interesting to do with it all now. More money for the moving pot :D if I manage to save on shopping.

borderlakland we have the banding system where I am, other areas one goes on points, then they call you when there is a property and you are top of the list, all different aren't they. As for the time on the list we get one point on the points one for every year we've been on the list (only 7 points now considering those on the top of the list have over 60 points which they tell you when applying what the person on the top of the list have, so we might still wait years) and for the banding one we've been on 4 years so are on band C, highest is A but need to be on 10 years+ for that, however like where you are those seeking asylum or are homeless will be classed as emergencies and go well above us.
One day I might be more organised...........

I have returned from the loft. Found the decs and the Halloween decs. All stuff is now in separate areas. Not fully sorted but I can now just do a bit when I feel like it. I have collected 6 items to ebay. Need to wipe them over and photo and then list tonight. Going to cheat and do it when hubbie is here as he has used the lister but I will do it with him supervising - role reversal but only for one night!

Off to school to collect DS3, I think DS1 and 2 are going to carting club at school so will not be back for a while.
