Hey everyone - hope you are all still well.
lil_me I am so pleased today has brought some good news for you :j and another option too!
Mum went home this afternoon - however having done her usual I am left feeling completly down... took myself and lo into town and got a (late) birthday card for my auntie and a new home card for some friends.
Ended up being way too early for picking kids up from school and as I was waiting the rain started. The bag of chocolate buttons I ate on the way home have done nothing to cheer me up... BUT she just phoned and apologised - I just hope that she sticks to what she says - although that doesn't happen very often anymore.
Anyway on the + side the kids are playing nicely together - I am going to finish my coffee, get supper on and hit the bathroom - will be back to tell you how shiny it is
Dustykitten - I normally sell the outgrown kids winter jackets etc at this time of year and seem to get okay money for them.. I think a lot of people start to look early - could be worth trying and completed listing search for your particular item.0 -
Hiya
Well I didn't just do the wardrobe....I did a few hot spots too and now i've got three bags to be collected in the morning. Can't believe how much I'm getting rid of at the moment. I've just totally springcleaned (well autumn cleaned) my clinic. I've cleared out a load of products I don't really use any more and put them in a £ box for people to buy. Better than just chucking them. Anything left after a couple of weeks i'll let dd experiment with. Could be interesting! I ended up having tea with children as DS has friend back who's really fussy eater and would only eat chicken nuggets and chips only he wouldn't eat it coz they were the wrong ones. Aaaaaaahhhhh! Luckily I know his mum really well so i'll just say he wouldn't eat, I'm not stressing.
Plans for the next couple of hours till bedtime.....
1) bath for the children to get DD to soak nails so I can cut them all really short and cut the loose ones off. She has five coming off at them moment but the good news is that there were nails underneath the three that have already fallen off.
2) Whilst they're in the bath I'll throw some more of DH junk out of the study. Oh, did I say throw out....I mean tidy up of course!!!!
3) Then put children to bed and have a very large glass of wine. Can't wait.
4) Aim to put feet up at 830.
Speak later xxJanuary budget

Ok just had dinner and had to report that the chicken was brillant, the best i've ever had and as everyone said just fell off the bone.:j
I think i am now addicted to sc and wonder why the heck i didn't start using it a year ago when i got it.
Now got dishes to do get DD to her club thing, lift flyers and then hopefully take into bedroom ( it's not to bad). Tried to download turbo lister but stupid computer wouldn't let me:mad: , so gonna take most of the pictures tonight.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Thanks everyone, really don't know what I'd be like without everyones support on here over the last few weeks, having somewhere to tell people things even is a start but with the support on top, trust me you've made a difference. I think I would have cracked up by now.
Right been to DS2s OT session, he can continue at the same one if we move which is a relief as he enjoys it aswell as gains from it. Need to find the rest of the swimming stuff in a mo, I usually have it organised by now but took me half an hour to find the goggles earlier on. Going to finish my dinner, stew is lovely I threw some dumplings in before I went out, naughty but nice! Then I'll get swimming stuff sorted then set off by 6pm hopefully, Thursdays term time are always manic!!!
Vanilla SC is one of my fave appliances, I love it for the convenience the most, Thursdays used to be take away night because making DP something for his dinner before work in the middle of transporting kids places was impossible to get anything cooked but like tonight I'd put the stew stuff in this morning, added the dumplings before I left for school run then microwaved some mashed potato I'd defrosted that I had in the freezer to go with it. Took me all of a few minutes to plate him up a filling dinner before work.
LJD1 well done with the clear out, must say the 'clinic' has got me curious, do you work from home?
Pen Pen those macaroons look lovely, have you got a recipe you can share ? I have a lot of baking stuff I want to use up and have never made those before. One day I might be more organised...........

Certainly, though it is EXTREMELY complicated :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Mix together a 400g can of condensed milk and a 250g bag od dessicated coconut. Put spoonfuls of this onto rice paper, magic liner, or well greased greaseproof. Put a 1/4 cherry on top and bake at gas 4 for 15 mins.
There - told you they were difficult
DD then likes to melt some dark chocolate, and cover their bottoms (can I say that on here). They then taste like a really rich version of Bounty.

Lil_me - great to hear it's looking up about the house. I must have missed that bit of news earlier. Yes, I do work from home, we converted the garage into a 'clinic' for me so it's all self contained and clients don't need to troop through the house. The down stairs loo is in there too so it has to be tidy at all times which isn't always easy with children! It's certainly cut my comute to work!
Well, i've sat down early as my legs are aching really badly. Need to go back to physio but don't seem to have the time! xxJanuary budget

Evening
I've read all the posts but can I remember what I was gonna put to you all? Can I heck  Funny how the macaroons stuck in my mind though - they look lush penpen :T
I'm covered in plaster dust from head to toe, now I know why it's taken me 4 yrs to get round to doing it, I hate it!! my kitchen's a MESS! I've had to scrape walls, clean the tops of the cupboards (yak) sand the walls down, clean up, tidy up, cook tea and everything and I'm pooped! lol and got to do it all again tomorrow - ho hum! be fab when it's finished mind
I'm on the verge of listing one thing on eBay, not doing more than one cause my pea brain ( and crapola memory) will be unable to cope with more than one thing at a time (I have visions of forgetting completely and being sued for non delivery of parcel) until I get used to it of course, but I'm nervous lol I'm doing it all blindly, I've no idea how paypal works or anything lol.........*panics*
