  • Good afternoon, everyone! I've been busy cleaning bathrooms - not my favourite job :o Downstairs, I've cleaned the loo and sink; polished the mirror; cleaned the floor (added a few drops of lemongrass oil to the mop - smells lovely :D ). Upstairs I've cleaned the bath (removed a huge plug hole monster  ); cleaned the sink; polished the windowsill; changed the towels and bath mat. Upstairs loo needs doing - might save that pleasure until tomorrow :p

I've broken the boredom by starting a big vat of onion soup. I've also emptied the porch of junk and tidied up. Needs a hoover and dust.

    Hi again...
Ok, managed to clean the bathroom, unblock the hoover, hoover, take son his trainers to school....
Now I've got pick up eldest daughter from school, will pop into town at the same time.
I've mince out to do stuffed marrows for tea...but thinking about all that fiddling about makes my head hurt. I might get my 2nd eldest daughter, who's 12, to do something with the mince while I'm in town, then I just have to stuff the marrows.
Conservatory and porch are coming together, can't wait, another 2 rooms to clean and tidy.

Just going to do some 'research' on ebay to help with my listings.

Edit: just had an email from ebay saying you can collect Nectar points on winning bids on ebay

    Evening all :hello:

Washing load number  5 in, still 3 to go :o BUT 2 of those were the new kingsized quilt sets which I couldn't squeeze into one load

I finally went for my bath ... at 1pm gone :o I texted OH a question as I was running my bath, stopped the bath and sat on the bed to wait for his reply, next thing I know it's 1pm, my legs gone dead from hanging over the side of the bed and my bath is cold  I did manage to wash the dishes and get the washing out on the line before I ran my bath, but most annoyingly was one load of washing was due out as I was running my bath (another reason for not getting in it straight away) and it ended up sitting in the machine for 2 hours after it had finished :rotfl:

Heater is out for use in the kitchen (oil filled one) as it's been freezing in there the past few nights, so while I was digging that out from under the stairs I re-arranged a few things, put a new ironing board cover on, and managed to get the ebay & charity boxes under there so the livingroom is now much tidier (if you ignore the washing  ) and we can use the dining table again. :rotfl:Just need to sort out my bamboo canes for the curtains now to go on the front & back doors and I'll be winter-ised :rotfl::rotfl:

Right, best go play "juggle the washing on the maiden"

Do you ebay experts think it is too early to sell winter things - I was going to put on one of the kids ski suits and a brand new goose duvet - do you think I would get a better price if I wait a month?

Starving going to put the tea on.
