Another week has flown by - luckily managed some more NSD's.
Sunday turned into a NSD as decided to shop on Weds when we would be in nearest town to collect DH's medication plus had voucher for £5 off £40 shop.
Mon was a NSD
Tues was a spend day as got a craving for sweet chilli crisps and choc!!
Weds was a spend day as did some shopping - DD had another friend round so got pizzas and snacky bits for them. (They went to bed at 6am!!! At the weekend her and her other friend went to bed at 5.50am!!!)
Thurs and Fri were NSD's which takes me to 13 so far.
Today will be a spend day as we have a jumble sale to go to and while we are in that direction will pop and get soya milk and GF bread as have run out.0 -
Just wanted to post my pic from one of the weekly challenges we had (I think week 2) about potting on.
I brought some primroses and cyclamen to put by the front door to brighten it up and they are all in flower now:0 -

For yesterday I am grateful for amusing spiders (it was on the ceiling near the light fitting and kept trying to attack the 'other' spider - its own shadow), that the multi-storey car park was taken down (idiots are setting off fireworks but it's not as bad as when they set them off between two concrete layers) and for people who deliver.
Love your flowers EE. Today I am tackling the tedious sewing task. So far I have watched a 3 part thriller and a film, hope I can fnd other things to have on in the background as I am not stopping until it is done.
Today I am grateful for DS3 sorting out my food and setting up the laptop (he wants the sewing job done as well, so I said if he wanted me to sew, he needed to sort the other things) and for washing being out on the line (it isn't drying but it's out of my way).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Hello, today was another SFD. Think I'm over target now.
I full day with the kids always drains me and if in a weird mood i just find it unproductive. Anyway we had fun and i will get the felt out now and start making kids hats.
Love the flowers too. Seeded my free wild flower seeds yesterday and some random bulbs i found after clearing the garden of some more dead stuff.

No money was spent yesterday and neither of our cars ever moved from the driveway, it makes me happy that we entertained ourselves all day without driving or spending.
We had a lovely walk yesterday afternoon, we met some very fat pigs and loads of goats plus horses and cats, it took forever to chat with them all so we were out a couple of hours.
I very much enjoyed having a lie in this morning and still being up by 8am.
Today DS has football and DD is riding, I will cycle and walk the dog again and I am going to try and get some winter tyres for the bikes and some spare inner tubes today so will be having to spend.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning all :coffee:
So pleased to report that my kids are now old enough that an extra hour means an extra hour in bed. I feel like a new woman.
EE - one thing we definitely don't have in common is the gardening thing. I love your flowersI pay a man to do our garden once a fortnight (I know this is not mse but I really don't care on that front).
Spendy day yesterday as I did the monthly cat food shop, plus some wool to make poppies to take into school next week. A few people have asked me so I'll give it a go.
Today should be a nsd - I've lost track for the month but I've done ok. I've promised my trainer that I will get out and do some walking later so I will do that. First though I'm spending some time with my poor traumatised cats who have just been chased by a huge dog that doesn't appear to belong to anyone. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

I don't want to take credit for something I haven't done so just re-read my post and I maybe should have put that I brought them and DH potted them on:rotfl:
I am not green fingered when it comes to flowers but DH is so I left him to it - he was even getting antsy about the colour co-ordination of them:rotfl:
Life is not about being MSE at all times - it's doing what suits you and if paying for a gardener helps you then why would you not. I have just been having this discussion on another thread about people who feed 10 on £5 per week!!! If the food you want to eat has to be of a certain quality why would you not spend more - we can all keep our beliefs and morals while trying to live as MSE as possible.0 -
EE I keep forgetting to say thank you for the code for you gov, I used it and have done many surveys so hopefully you'll get your bonus soon.i love the you gov surveys.
Today should be a SFD. I've done my school work for tomorrow, made lunch for today and tomorrow and I'm about to walk the dogs and Hoover the house.
I've just got my loan for the building work. It's so strange to see such numbers in my bank account! I'll be adding it to my debt total when I've paid the builders as I'll be paying any that I don't spend back straight away.
Now just need to get rid of this last £920 of current debt!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
