Totally lazy day here. It's freezing and wet, so the heating is on, I've a hot cup of tea and I'm watching a film. After the past couple of weeks I am enjoying the 'me' time. Today will be a NSD, working for the rest of the week after today including the weekend which will bolster the savings pot by a nice amount.
Will also shuffle £40 of housekeeping money into savings pot tomorrow.
Mini plan - savings pot at £3.5k by end of June.
All in all, feeling happy with things.MFW

Thank you
I do need milk but have enough change lying around to buy a 2 pinter. Lunch is a random concoction from the fridge, and I'm putting a beef stew in the slow cooker later. Operation freezer use up is underway and should save us around £30 over the next week xMFW

I totally forgot to buy milk so we will be having cereal with slightly watered down milk in the morning using up the bit that is left! I will have to replace my evening cuppa with a glass of wine instead
At least my NSD is still intact!MFW

At least you have bread to make sandwiches we only have tortillas so everything is being offered with a wrap
Working this morning then really will remember to buy milk :rotfl: MiL's for lunch, she always makes a good salad so I am looking forward to it.
Apart from milk, no money will leave my purse :TMFW

You are doing really well ATB - I'm sure you'll hit your June savings target no problem.
I am trying to run down my freezer this month to - it does have a load of meals in it from when I did a day of cooking the problem is I look at what I cooked and don't fancy any of it .0 -
Moomin - I'll happily trade you - how about two packs of tortillas in exchange for one of your lovely homemade dinners :o
The kids are happily eating some cod, carrots, sweetcorn and (from the freezer) Yorkshire puddings. Ice cream for afters!
Spent £15 on fuel today. I need to buy some soured cream tomorrow but that's it. Planning to shuffle £150 from housekeeping pot into savings pot tomorrow :money:
Edited to add - I've just realised how close to the teens we areMFW
