Oooh SJ we are running low on spaghetti hoops, I'll trade you for some tortilla wraps :rotfl:

I need to make an extra £600 this month to get us to our £4k target. Been asked to cat sit next week which will boost the coffers :j

Also got two bits to ebay - will list those before I head back out today. To know that, on the basis of mortgage minus savings, we will be in the teens by the end of the month is just brilliant. To know that we will be in five figures by January makes me so happy and the thought of it re-focuses the mind when this journey seems tough.

    Morning All

Went out on Friday night, had one too many glasses of wine :o then yesterday we were at a family wedding and I seemed to have yet more wine :o:o

I thought it would be fine, as kiddies didn't go to bed until 10 last night, but good old DS still got up at 5.45.... Anyway, I've had three cups of builders tea so feeling a bit more chipper. DH snoring his head off.

Kiddies already playing outside on the decking. DH leaving for work at 3pm (away all week, again...) so we will potter, get the paddling pool out and I might try and sneak a nap in before he goes.

I've no idea what we spent at the wedding yesterday but a good time was had by all so it really doesn't matter.

I seem to have lost track completely of where our money is going this month, bad ATB. So long as we hit our target of being in the teens by month end it doesn't really matter....

    Morning All :)

Up and at 'em this morning, I LOVE this weather. House is tidy, WM is on, kiddies are fed and dressed. I have some work to do this morning, then will go to DD school for a parent picnic lunch :)

I have been paid for the cat sitting I am doing this week, so will shuffle that over to savings. I need to do more Matched Betting, I made such a good start with it and earnt over £300 really quickly, I am going to designate some time specifically to it this week.

    Have fab days all xx

Sounds like you had a good weekend and some well-deserved time off from watching the pennies and like you're now back at it!

    Enjoy the picnic!

Cat sitting money shuffled to the savings pot. Feeling tired today - none of us are sleeping to well in this heat. Much as I love it, at night a fan just doesn't cut it - we need air con!

Kiddies just having tea then it's into the bath for them. I think I will follow suit and have a nice relaxing bath tonight, a cool one mind.

I think you've posted on the wrong thread :)

Really quick one from me, full day of small business work so I have made a packed lunch and got myself organised. It is meant to be sweltering today so I will drink plenty of water too.

Will report back later, have fab days all x

Hi ATB, saw a great tip the other day that is meant to help you sleep in this heat that I'm going to try. Fill a bottle of water, put it in the freezer to freeze and then before bed put it infront of the fan, it then blows the cold air that comes from the frozen bottle of water and also if you have a hot water bottle then fill that with cold water to take to bed with you. x

    Useless diarist checking in :p

In my defence, I am currently looking after not only my two kiddies but my niece and nephew all weekend, solo, as DH working away. Four kids under 6 :o so I am a little preoccupied!

I think we may fall short of our June savings target by £100, which is frustrating, however it is because I am having my hair done this week (long overdue cut, colour and toner) so it's my "fault". I LOVE having my hair done and feel much brighter when it's done (my hair is naturally very light blonde, but I have a toner put on it at the moment to make it a more silvery colour - sounds awful but it is really lovely!)

    Have a great day x

We all work very hard to be MF, but we need to remember we all need a "pick me up" every now and then. So don't feel guilty, the "feel good factor" is a must to keep going. :)

You are doing so well. :T
