Good luck with the MB ATB - it's beyond me, but DH made a few hundred (and could have made/will make more) - it seems like a lucrative method for upping income (better than surveys anyway!)

    Morning all :)

Thanks to everyone for your input on MB. Once the kiddies are in bed tonight I will crack on with my first bet - half term here so they are around my ankles so not great for concentrating!

I finally got the consultancy money I was owed :j so that has been shuffled into savings. Our mortgage payment goes out on the 1st - looking forward to having a clear picture of where we are on Friday once online banking catches up then I can update my signature.

    Have fab days all xx

PS Will report back on MB this evening if anyone is interested xx

Sorry for being absent, have spent the last two days reading up on MB and registering with some of the various sites to start. Done 5 matched bets so far using free bets on offer and, if my maths is right, will have made about £85 by the end of today. Not bad for around 2 hours work over the last two days :)

I am concentrating on the easy stuff at the moment, and have a one-to-one booked with a chap at Oddsmonkey to guide me through the other offers.

Still waiting for online mortgage account to catch up (mortgage payment was made today), hopefully tomorrow will know new balance and be able to update signature x

Online mortgage account still hasn't caught up  so updating signature will have to wait until Monday.

I've made £83 profit on MB which I'm delighted with :j and two items on eBay have bids. Today will be a NSD, in fact apart from my initial outlay for MB (which is still in my online Betfair account) it's been a NS week!

    Have great days all xx

    Morning All,

I couldn't sleep last night for planning our savings over the next 6 months. We need to save £20k by December to ensure we are in 5 figures in the New Year (the normal monthly payments will take care of the £4k needed).

    Plan is as follows:

    - £10,000 dividends from DH company. This sounds a lot, but considering that a) his salary is less than minimum wage and b) he is working 6 days a week at present - it's no less than he deserves for what he is doing.

    - £2,000 from my little business.

    - £3,000 from savings to household budget

    - £1,000 Christmas and birthday money

    - £2,000 from ebay and Matched Betting. I have a MB 1-2-1 booked for two weeks time so I can be guided through some of the offers (I have done half of the "easy" ones, will do the rest next week then can move onto the "average" difficulty ones)

And we already have £2k in the pot so there we have it :T

Any comments/tips gratefully received as always xx

I've been feeling a bit glum today, silly really. Kiddies back to school and Pre-school tomorrow. DH still working away.

Can't wait for online banking to catch up tomorrow and be able to update my signature :D

Thanks for the encouragement Jess xx

    Morning all,

Signature updated - to say my goal was £125k by end of June I am mightily :j about what we have achieved.

We have exhausted our OP allowance for the year, so now it's about building up the magic £20k in savings. Plans for the week:
    • Found some euros last night, about £10 worth, so will be changing those to sterling today and using them for our fresh food shopping this week
    • Pay money into bank - £40 - and shuffle into OP pot
    • I have made withdrawals from two betting accounts so will save that once received
    • Walking everywhere rather than using car

I went into Fultons Foods on Saturday, was very impressed and will be going there more often. I am aware our target for year end is huge, but with some careful planning we may just do it x

Nicely done and great planning. Good to see MB is paying off.

I have so much to do/plan that atm overwhelmed, but going to work through the large list of things, take one off, add two on type of thing, but will reach the last one eventually, will just take time and patience, which I do not have a lot of.

As they say, every little helps.
