I sent a letter to our mortgage provider on Wednesday to clarify how much of our OP allowance we have left so watch this space.

Small eBay sale so I will shuffle the £8 profit into savings shortly. Today's spends will just be £10 for two rib eye steaks for dinner (looking forward to these already!) from the butcher.

Morning all,

Still waiting for reply from mortgage provider confirming how much of OP allowance we have left. Three items on ebay, all with starting bids of 99p, finishing on Sunday so let's see what they produce. Just shuffled £20 into savings pot. I feel like we are getting there

Getting antsy waiting for the mortgage company to reply, don't they appreciate I want to crack on and OP :rotfl:

£1000 divi due from DH company at month end, and the £300 I'm owed from consultancy work will be in my account on Wednesday. As the kiddies break up next Friday for a week, I'd like to have all my financials done and up to date to allow me to enjoy a week off with them.

Still no reply from mortgage company confirming remaining OP allowance... sigh. I know I only wrote to them a week ago so will give it another week before chasing up. We do have the £4K though ready to make the OP :j:j just want them to confirm remaining allowance so we don't end up paying a fee!

eBay items finish on Sunday, and no spend weekend planned

Afternoon All,

Was up early this morning but too weary to post. I have felt quite flat for a few days, unlike me, things just seem a bit Groundhog Day-ish and constantly looking after everyone is tiring me out.

The eBay items finish tonight so that will be nice to get some extra pennies in. Washing is on the line and there is a beef topside in the slow cooker. NSD weekend achieved x

Morning folks

the mortgage company finally replied and we can repay another £4.5k penalty free. So that's on the 'to do' list for the new few days

we have spent a lot this month so I must sit down and look at the financials today

today will be a NSD, as will tomorrow

stay at home weekend planned with DH and kiddies, just enjoying the ☀️ and not going anywhere
