WM is doing its thing, and I have unloaded the DW. Will stick a spag bol in the slow cooker shortly which will be dinner for tomorrow. Stayed up late to listen to the fight on Radio 5 live last night, really enjoyed it and well done Anthony :T
So, no real MF news to report but instead just a lovely day ahead. Have fab days all xxMFW

Morning all
Had a lovely lovely day yesterday with DH. Walked over 15,000 steps around the village then up to a pub for lunch, perfect. Came home and watched Pretty Woman, even more perfect!
DH going to pick kiddies up shortly and I have two hours work to do starting in 13 minutes, better slurp this brew then crack on! Will take the children to the park after lunch, then hopefully they will be happy to settle down and watch a film this pm.
Dinner already made for this evening (spag bol) and a weekend of very low spending planned. Will Tilly Tidy some pennies mid-week once usual monthly payment has been taken xMFW

Morning all,
Paid a cheque for £70 into the bank today, and will OP once cleared. No action on the eBay items yet, fingers crossed for the weekend. Still owed £300 for consultancy work - I've chased it up and have been assured it's being dealt with so hopefully that will arrive before month end.
I need to spend an hour going over our financials today, assessing direct debits once more and making sure I know exactly what our surplus is. It all going to take an awful lot of NSDs, planning and organisation to get £25k in savings, but if we don't try we'll never know...
Have great days all xMFW

ATB, it's great that you have all these little side earners on top of your main income - you'll reach that 25k in no time
How is your new business going?
Mortgage - £105,5000 -
The business is going well thanks PL
Today WILL be a NSD. There have been far too many odds and sods expenses for my liking this past fortnight. I think I'm bored and need a mini goal:D
Soooo, plan is to OP £4K in one lump by the end of May. That means saving £1000 from our monthly budget. There we are, challenge set :jMFW

I have set myself a MF date! See signature. By my 35th birthday we WILL be mortgage free.
How exciting
Ok, so since I posted this, I have stuck a goulash in the slow cooker for tomorrow night's dinner, got some mince out to defrost so I can make a chilli for Saturday night, and planned meals up to Wednesday. It's hardly going to save us thousands but it's a start!
Taking DD to a party on Saturday - already have suitable present, card and paper so no spend needed there. Sunday has been earmarked for doing jobs round the house, including clearing the guttering, so no money needed there either. Finally, VAT return to do tomorrow, will give me a better idea what we have in the business pot to OP this month.MFW
