So we are at £4,150 in savings. There doesn't seem to have been much spare in the household budget recently - must look at this again properly soon to see where we can plug the gaps.

DH is working super hard but for once we can actually reap some rewards which is always lovely. He should be able to withdraw enough at month end to get us to £6k.

Kiddies break up tomorrow for the 6 week holidays so we will be getting creative with ideas for days out! Lots of trips to the park on the bus I think, as well picnics in the garden.

I am itching to get to five figures in savings. Life has been so hectic lately I have lost my way a bit with money saving. This won't do, and is something I am going to address over the next few weeks.

Making a start by allocating a pile of items to ebay :T

The 6 week holidays have commenced - I don't know whether to be :j or  about that :rotfl:

Savings today are at £4,320. I won't be able to shuffle anymore housekeeping money into the pot, as all our bills go out next week (1st) and I don't have any work on this week as no childcare.

DH's business finances are all up to date and looking fairly healthy for a £1,500 drawing at month end. So I need to make £180 extra to get to £6k by end of July (totally deliberately ignoring the fact that my target was £6.5k :rotfl:). Best go photograph that ebay pile.....

Off the starting blocks - old mobile phone sold online to MM. All being well that will pay out £54.10. So a trip to the Post Office is on the cards for tomorrow morning to get that sent off :money:

MM have confirmed they have received my phone so the money should be in my account on Monday :j

Waiting on email confirmation re. one of DH's customers that we will receive payment on Monday for a piece of work he did, if so we can add £1500 to the savings pot which should just get us to £6k by month end

I never did list anything on ebay :o

    Morning all,

Not too much to report other than roll on Monday when we can stash some more money into savings! Likely to be a No Spend weekend which is always good.

Have a good one folks xx
