Thanks for popping in Cath, yes you're quite correct! It's nice to see things leaving the house, thus working towards the eventual goal of it being much easier to keep clean and tidy.
23p TT OP. I need to pop to the post office this morning, but other that than no spends needed. Picking DS up the on to a friends for lunch.
Dinner is HM leek, potato and bacon bake

My rough workings out tell me that this time next week we will be in the 30s. There will be lots of :j if that does indeed prove to be the case and my dodgy maths does me proud
The usual mortgage payment goes out on Tuesday, but seems to take online mortgage banking a while to catch up so realistically it will be Thursday before I know for certain.
Signing off for the weekend now - I am truly bushed, DS sleep patterns are horrid at the moment (lots of developmental leaps going on I suspect)
Have a good 'un folks xxMFW

Ahh I'm feeling frustrated tonight.
DH and I have had a lovely chat about our plans for the future - what is now set in stone is that we want to retire at age 50, i.e. 20 years time. My dad died 6 years ago today age 48, his life was taken too soon and we want to make the most of the time we have.
I need to ramp up the OPs to get us in the best position we can possibly be in. Lots to think about on what is quite an emotional day xMFW

Sorry you lost you dad at such a young age. you are doing so so well on your journey to mortgage freedom and achieving loads at a rate that most can only dream of. I'm rooting for you as I can really feel from your writing how much it means to you and how determined you are to achieve it. I'm sure your dad would be very proud of you xx19/8/19 vs now Current Total debt £14,188 Savings £2757

Thank you for your reply crunch it means an awful lot xx
Apologies for waxing lyrical and seeming a little melancholy, not normally me but his birthday really gets me every year. I'll be back to usual ATB cheeriness in no time xxMFW

Sorry to hear about your dad, ATB, but love the retire-by-50 goal. I'm sure you can do it.0

Morning All,
I feel brighter today
DH is at work today, so the plans involved getting the Halloween decorations out, taking DD swimming, doing yet more laundry and not spending a penny! I will check the accounts in a moment and see if there are any pennies to Tilly tidy.
If the kids allow me enough peace, I will try and list another item on ebay as well.
Have lovely days all xMFW

Lovely day and no money spent :T
Foraged for kindling for the wood burner which is now burning away merrily :T
DH cooking steak and cauli cheese for dinner :T
A plan has formed for 2017 :T:eek:
All in all, a lovely day. Clocks rolling back, inevitably means DS will be up at 4, not 5, and keeping him up later achieves nothing.
I may well be posting at 4am - luckily DH has promised to make me smoked salmon and eggs for brekkie. eBay bids are up to £13, mortgage be gone :rotfl:
