Well done on get in the 30s! I'm certain you can make your new target, you've got a plan and the determination to stick to it! Good Luck!

Off the starting blocks with a nice healthy OP of £700. Partly the gold money, and the rest was money saved from the household budget last month. We did phenomenally well eating from the store cupboard and freezer, which saved at least £200 from the budget.
I also had a bumper amount of NSDs. I am finding these ever easier to achieve - I walk to and from school, so no fuel money required, and leave my purse at home so I'm not tempted to spend money.
Account looking fairly empty now though, but that is £700 I will never, ever pay interest on again. Happy days xMFW

Woo-hoo!! :j Very exciting to read all of your grand plans, ATB. Of course, I don't doubt for one second that you will reach your goal - you are definitely one of the over-achievers in the MFW class.Mortgage - £105,5000

Morning
Three eBay items end tonight, current combined bids are £27, if they end collectively for £40 I will be mightily chuffed. Other item ends at the weekend (DVD box set) and is already up to £16 :T
Dinner from the freezer tonight, so no food spends needed.
Have fab days all xxMFW

Yesterday's OP has hit the account so it's already looking pretty good.
I have just paid yet another chunk of money to HMRC (VAT, DH's self assessment tax and the final corporation tax payment). I really wish I could an hour of the Chancellor's time to explain to him just how much the tax system cripples small businesses.
With a bit of luck now the taxes are paid, any "spare" money in the business can be paid to us in dividends this month and next. Lord only knows DH deserves to see a bit more of the money he earns, rather than sending it to the Revenue! Rant over x

Apologies for the absence, I have been away with a friend for a few days - a break that was booked before I re-ignited our MF journey. It was enjoyable, don't get me wrong, but I had to part with some cash which I really didn't want to part with for various things such as meals out. I couldn't duck out of it in any way, so just made the most of it and tried not to bemoan the loss of some chunks of cash!
Needless to say it has been NSDs aplenty since I got back, the meal plan for the next week is done and I am hoping we will be in the 138s next week.
DH work is testing at the moment, we have a non-payer issue. Only tends to happen around once a year, and the threat of court action soon spurs them on, but it's just a headache we could do without (and the best part of £5k we could really do with!)
Onwards and forwards. Freezer use up continues tonight - steak pie and chips for hubby, fish pie for me.
Every penny is being turned over several times before I part with it now!
Best wishes
