None of it's great but I'm sure it would seem a good bit more manageable if you'd slept. Fingers crossed DS gets better soon and his op goes wellMortgage Outstanding Nov '16 £142,772.75Mortgage Additional OPs 2017 Target £4522.80/ Actual £865.00GC Feb 0/£2000

Hope you have a goodnight sleep tonight. Sorry the money worries rattle on - but - here is the thing - you have an ambitious plan and you will get there! I know this - no emoji for sprinkles of fairy dust but I'm sure there is one somewhere.
Hang in thereMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Just a quick post to say I am still here, just reading rather than posting
All of my efforts at the moment are on Christmas prep, giving the house the Flylady treatment, submitting court papers in relation to our non-payer
and trying to keep an ATB smile on my face too
DS operation went well and he was back to his mischievous self in no time.
I have made some tiny OPs recently, enough to take us into the 137s with our standard monthly payment, and have switched gas and elec supplier saving £30 a month. Oh, and cancelled Netflix too.
Monday is money day, I need to take a long hard look at everything, so should have something good to report then. Still feeling positive
Best wishes,
ATB xMFW

Hi ATB, glad all is going well for you, even if it is a bit busy! Well done on all your MSE saving stuff this week, it's mad when you see how much that odd subscription adds up each month, and then how much difference it makes if you can OP it. Isn't it? Hope the court stuff goes your way without too much hassle.Mortgage Outstanding Nov '16 £142,772.75Mortgage Additional OPs 2017 Target £4522.80/ Actual £865.00GC Feb 0/£2000

Good Afternoon all
Gosh, I have been a rubbish diarist lately. I have been swept along with all of the Christmas bits and pieces going on at school and pre-school, and have also been busy getting the house straight. Which seems like a never ending task a lot of the time!
But I am still OPing, still on track and still being frugalI have to admit, I have sinned, when I was really really down a few weeks ago I bought some things from V*ry online. It didn't cheer me up, in fact I felt even more rubbish afterwards, so I am paying it off this week and closing the account. Also received confirmation in the post that my Next account has been closed, happy days.
There is still every chance we will succeed at my hair-brained challenge. God loves a trier at any rate!
Best wishes to you all,
ATB xxMFW

Well done with being frugal and overpaying! I wouldn't worry about your blip with Very, we all have those moments! I agree about feeling worse after because I think you plonker that money could have gone on an overpayment!!

Love the diary ATB! Hope the unpaid invoice gets settled soon to relieve some stress for you. I'm subscribing and will cheer you along. I'm just in the process of remortgaging at the moment, which will knock 8 years off our mortgage whilst keeping payments the same!! Result!!0
