Hope you enjoyed your break apart from the spending money bit!!
I hope your OHs bill gets paid soon! I used to work in accounts so I know all about having to constantly call people, sending them 7 day letters, then on stop letters and then finally solicitors letters! It's so frustrating, I felt like screaming down the phone "Just pay your bloody bill!!!"
Good luck in getting in the 138s!!

Gosh I don't know where time is going.
Real life has been incredibly busy and stressful these past few days, mainly around financial issues with non-payment of the very large invoice for DH business. I have, however, overpaid the mortgage by £40 this morning - I must keep momentum flowing.
I promise to be posting more again once this issue is resolved - it is taking up too much headspace at present xMFW

Good morning all,
I've missed my diary over this past fortnight, I need to keep posting regularly to spur me on
DH non-payer issue rumbles on. I have decided now to not bother counting that money in my plans so when it does turn up it will be a very welcome boost. Solicitor friend will get involved if needs be...
I drew out £10 yesterday which needs to last me all week - so far so good, only £1 spend yesterday. If I can stick to this approach this week and next we will have a decent chunk of the housekeeping money to OP at the end of the month.
Must get some more bits on eBay today.

Lovely day so far. Been volunteering this morning, picked up some dog food and came home and cracked on with the laundry.
Made a pleasing OP earlier which sees us into the next 1000s, i.e. the 38s. I am already annoyed with being in the 30s though and want to be in the 20s! On that note, I best get listing on ebay!
I have paid off an old Next account today, which I had pretty much forgotten about. I am annoyed at myself as there was still a small balance on it, which I have been changed a crazy interest rate on. Anyway, it has been cleared today and I will send them a letter at the end of the week asking to close it.
I have been offered a small amount of freelancing work this week, it would be an extra £200 in the OP pot so I have said yes.MFW

ATB you are an inspiration!! Best of luck with your rather large but attainable from the sounds of it OP target! I have no doubt you will do an amazing job!

Thank you for popping in Jodles and Needhelpsaving xx
I listed a large toy item on Gumtree last night and it has already sold. So that is £30 in the pot - it is being collected tomorrow and I will pay in the money and OP it straight away. I am going to list two bits on ebay today - if they net me £50 I will be happy. We need to find approximately £400 in the next two weeks to get us on track and into the 37s by 2nd December. Half of that will be my freelancing money, which I hope comes through in time.
I have a big bag of odds and sods to drop at the charity shop later, and must go and return my library book and take out a new one.
Have lovely days all xMFW

Totally with you on the whole 130's, 120's mindset. Since i went into the 110's, all i've done is look ahead to when i'll be in the 100's! And it seems to be going so slow! I know i should look at £5k brackets, but they're not ask motivating!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

That has been withdrawn and immediately OP'd. That is £30 I will never, EVER, pay interest on again. Boom x MFW
