  • In other, much nicer, news me and DD have had a lovely day today :) I treated her to lunch in a cafe and a new toy of her choice (she had a budget of £10 and only wanted one thing at £6 bless her).

Now to get in the bath, PJs on and watch some tv with her, bliss. DS and DH back on Friday so we can enjoy some nice mummy/daughter time x

    Sounds lovely :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Received an unexpected refund cheque today for £75 so that will be paid in tomorrow and OPd when it clears. I will will will list at least 3 things on eBay tomorrow as well...

  • Good morning all,

Still plodding forward financially to next Tuesday when hopefully the mortgage will be in the 30s. We are still a little short but planning NSDs for the rest of the week to hopefully make up the shortfall.

I have already set my target for New Years Day in my head ;)

Enjoying a cup of tea in bed with DD - she's such a little ray of sunshine, a real joy to be around, it's such s pleasure.
