Hey look at that. Bob is nearly below £1000.if I win the lottery I will finish it off for her.
Just back from walking dogs and doing chucks and raspberries. It is a perfect mild and misty autumn day.
Off to work with packed lunch.
Have a good day all.

Morning chums,
Tried to pay the CC as I said however the cheque hasn't fully cleared yet to allow me to pay it. My balance has increased yet my available balance hasn't?!
Anyway, back to it today. Yesterday was a NSD so I'll keep the spends low today;
- Check banks and YNAB
- Low spend (£2 lunch)
- Exercise
- Finish my Marie Kondo
- Start reading my new book, "Why We Get Fat & What To Do About it"
- Charge my phone at work
Have a nice day everyone0 -
I can't help you with your question ziggy. I'm a bit of a maverick with gardening, just try things and hope for the best! I think fuschias are quite hardy though. Mine had some kind of disease so I cut it right back to the ground last year and it's come back no problem. If I recall I think I did that in the autumn...DF as at 30/12/16

Hi Ziggy,
I think as you are a bit further north than me, your fuchsias must be the hardy ones. If so, Autumn's usually a good time to move things. I'd give them a good water the day before then dig 'em up & move 'em. If you water them in well, I can't see why there'd be a problem. I'd cut off any seedheads first so that all the energy goes into getting established.

Hello Money savers,
A few odds & sods from me today:
*Free coffees in Waitrose.
*Withdrew cash for paying our savings piggies.
*Saved £3 on lipstick by buying 2. I wear make-up pretty much every day so like to look for bargains.
*Picked another bunch of grapes from greenhouse.
*Sold 5 ebay items.
*Rounded up more windfall apples. Picked another courgette. They've slowed down but are still producing, as are the scallop squash plants.
*Bake apple & cinnamon mini-muffins.
*Freezer/pantry dive for dinner. Mr f has decided on a big dopiaza I cooked from rubber chicken a while back & I think I will make a small crustless quiche for me, as we have plenty of eggs, cheese & veg.
*Knit more Christmas present sock. Am powering down the foot now so may even finish it tomorrow as the toes bit is quick to knit.
That's it for today. I have to go to a meeting tonight & need to get prepped up for that too.
Cheers all,

Mrs F so jel! My patty pans aren't producing anymore nor are the courgettes. Going to give them one last feed to see if it does anything and if not next week will dig them up!
legomum the weather here has been glorious all day, although it looks like it's on the turn now...
So so so chuffed! Took my car over to a mechanic I know in a little out in the sticks garage. It cost me £40 to get a new-to-me bonnet & have my wing mirror replaced! So the bonnet was actually £15 as had already been quoted £25 for the mirror, this is including all parts! Hello I have a new mechanic!DF as at 30/12/16

Spectacularly unproductive day today, as I have had GD to look after, and we have been acting out Beatrix Potter stories all day  her latest thing. Her soft toys have had to be kittens, hiding in the cupboard and the flour bin (yes, I have one
) and by the woodburner, but not in the chimney  ... and one toy had to be Jemima Puddle Duck, sitting on some stone eggs in a nest which was actually the wooden fruit bowl. This will mean nothing to those who don't know the stories :rotfl:
Made a house / tent under the dining table using a big blanket and the sofa cushions
Planted some pound shop bulbs in the front garden pots
HM meals
Sold a few items on ebay, even got one parcel packed :T
Made a birthday card for Grandad, for Friday
Grandad only bought bread and some apple turnovers from the SM
Picked 2 courgettes, still with us here, though slowing down a bit now
Picked a smallbowlful of raspberries, which GD ate
Entertained GD for free (she didn't even like the apple turnovers :rotfl:)

That sounds delightful with dg Dawn! Madam loves it when we are acting out stories. We found her old faithful teddy today - haven't seen it for a while - when Dada (used to say this when she couldn't say granddad but it's stuck) got home he told the story (from Moomin) of how he had been lost in the larder for the last month. She was so delighted with this! It's the simple things xDF as at 30/12/16
